I've noticed age gaps being brought up here a lot and I felt that I'd mention this.

So these young women are dating an older man and mention it/may be asking specific relationship questions online.

Most of what she gets is insults from the comments. They often refuse to talk to her on her level "yes well your just too naive so you wouldn't even understand what's wrong" "your just emotional and not thinking coz Ur young" and maybe it's true. But if someone sys that to you I don't think you'd say it was okay, or to any age of woman in another setting.

What you do is make them feel hurt, and therefor not trust reaching out for help again.

Also cases of abuse and DV it's not an age gap related issue, it's ever sort of relationships. And again any other woman you'd never suggest was just silly for staying with them, or insult them for being with the partner.

I also find it odd how often people against these just keeping saying tis another reason if you say the reasons they mentioned don't apply, making it feel like there's no way to even know who's bad or not.

If your worried tell them signs of DV, or abuse. Tell them what to look out for maybe link an info page. People struggling will read it and see what may apply. But if you just insult them and say WRONGGG basically over and over, you don't convince anyone.
