I know “How to Get Girls 101” is a silly concept, but pill-based podcasts and social media channels are filling a knowledge gap and programming people (some of whom I’m sad to say are grown adults) to be net drains on society with poor information. And while it seems ridiculous to think a classroom is the place to learn how to be a more dateable person, it’s also clear that people need some instruction. I’d rather them learn in a structured setting that puts them face-to-face with a qualified instructor than some online guru looking to stoke anger, win subscribers and get Patreon supporters.

I’m thinking the curriculum could be like junior high health and sex ed classes, only more uncomfortable. The idea of attending a course called “How to talk to girls” or “Building self-confidence” or “There are more types of women than porn stars and IG trolls” seems like hell on earth, but there’s clearly a market for them and this sub is a monument to where that market will go without something better

My only concern is, if such a thing were to exist, how many people who need it would actually pursue it? Anything that is actually productive runs the risk of not being as entertaining as podcasts. Still, if there were more traditional academic-like resources for lost and lonely boys/men, they would have fewer excuses for getting their information from trash sources.
