so out of morbid curiosity I looked up that thread to see if the person is just a troll, but based off their post history I don't think so... She is mad & feels "violated" because her 3 year old son doesn't want to breastfeed anymore -- he just "used her body & turned her away" so she sent him to live with his father since the *3 year old* didn't take her feelings into consideration & now the dad wants support. Batshit insane. I hope the dad is able to go through all the right channels to get the son protected from her.

The real issue is the need to end the "Tender Years Doctrine". The short version is children do better with their mother (spoiler: they don't) so the mother should care for the children and the father should pay for it. Gender neutrality in law only increases the number of people victimized.

The reality is, children should go to the parent that can best provide for them, and the other partner should shut their fucking pie-hole.

This reminds me of an episode of a crime show. In the episode a mother who scammed her own son, both her parents, and of her best friends. With the son and the friend having to be in debt because of it. She was basically financial guardian of those 2 because the son was just of age and the friend irresponsible I guess. But she opened credit cards on their names without them knowing and scammed her own son - who just turned 18 - into something like 20.000 euro of debt. She also frequently stole from her parents, who because of the nature of this woman don't consider her their daughter anymore. In the meantime she convinced her son that the parents are actually cruel or something. And after the son found out, he was in shock and naturally left the house. When confronted by the tv crew, the friend, and the son the woman blamed the son for leaving her, but said something along the line of "I was glad you left." And at that moment the host of the show just screamed at her for how horrible she is. That was truly a shocking episode to watch, it's hard to imagine how someone could do such things. She must have no true conception of friendship and family, and without that how alone must someone truly be. Not that that justifies anything, still makes her horrible.
