I've talked about Red Pill theories in other subreddits, without actually mentioning TRP itself ever, but people look at my post history, see I'm part of TRP, they point it out to other posters (literally quoting parts of my posts from TRP), and immediately disregard anything I have to say after that point. I've made perfectly logical, sensible points in other subreddits that have been downvoted to -20 or -30, simply because they hate TRP so much.

Most people jump on the bandwagon and downvote me/throw attacks at me, without actually responding to any of my points. Occasionally you get the odd poster who says "this guy has a point, I don't know why he's been downvoted so much", but they too get downvoted by the mob. It's really sad to see this in other subreddits.

In real life, I've mentioned it a few times but no one knows what I'm talking about. They just say "is that to do with the matrix?". I can't be bothered to explain any further, so I just leave them in ignorance.

It comes from an inherent contradiction in human existence.

On the one hand, reality is obviously a negotiation. What different things mean is being constantly negotiated through small acts of dominance, submission, subterfuge and so on.

Those who've negotiated the present reality aren't particularly fond of a few things:

#1 They don't like hearing that reality is negotiated, except of course, when they're objecting to your version of reality. Then it's totally accepted because that's the pretense for changing your reality.

#2 Many of these negotiated realities are deeply contrary to actual reality. People can complain about gender disparity all they want, but it never ceases to fascinate me just how much women like it and prefer to live under it.

Look at the kink community. Half the kink subculture is now just a way of sneaking natural female impulses for submission into the feminist framework's built-in loophole for not shaming sexual proclivities. It's basically, "I like to be choked and whipped and made to submit, but I'm still totally a feminist in good standing and an empowered woman."

I remember reading this one female social researcher who was discussing courtship and making all these remarks about love and liberation. First, she was vamped up pretty fucking hot for someone giving a presentation, which I found both visually and intellectually interesting. Second, she drops this line casually in the middle of it that amounted to "All this is great for all of you, but my husband's a controlling motherfucker who keeps me in line."

In other words, she's preaching one gospel while living another.

#3 The main enforcement mechanism for culture norms is a challenge-response system. You have to maintain frame even as they recruit other people to shame you for your attitude. It becomes like a game of chess where both players start piling pieces on to target a single pressure point. The goal is to achieve an overload that breaks the other player by challenging them.

#4 The fact that reality can be shifted by changing the frames and filters that information go through scares the hell out of people. For many, closely examining those filters and frames feels like an assault on free will. For my part, I think it's liberating because you don't really have free will until you know where the controls are and how to operate them.

#5 A lot of the stability of society boils down to accepting that life is constant manipulation without admitting it. Looking behind the curtain makes people afraid you're going to tear down the whole thing.

And a lot of people have zilch to work with beside manipulation. For example, women in most societies are net calorie moochers. There's nothing wrong with this in a traditional male-dominant framework because the woman makes up the difference in calories provided by having sex with her partner, raising kids and maintaining the homestead. It becomes a real problem in the modern world because it speaks to the inequity of the arrangement continuing. And women apparently really, really like getting free drinks.

Plenty of social manipulation comes from virtue signalling. This is why you see so-called male feminists who turn out to be borderline predators. (See Joss Whedon if you want to know what a real work of this type looks like.) You also get the preacher/serial killer type who's using social manipulation to hide in plain sight. Lots of people do it, and that makes any examination of manipulation disturbing to society as a whole.

True, i've never specifically mentioned TRP to someone, but i have sometimes "sprinkled" some of the theories behind TRP in conversations and it's kinda baffling how mad some people get. I think it's mainly because they know deep within that it's the truth but they won't accept it. I remember having a talk with a female friend one time where we discussed dating etc, and i mentioned some of the theories about branch-swinging and women always wanting what they can't have etc, and she just completely flipped because of it. Like, we often joke about boys/girls, but this really got her mad for some reason.

This thing is life changing.

I am now still in the anger phase and wondering if I had known about this 10 years ago would I not gotten myself into this shitty LTR? Would I lift? Would I read?

10 years ago I thought reading was for stupid people! That in the books, all you get is bullshit. Now I know why - because through school and friends the books I read were indeed shitty. Didn't know about stuff like 48 Laws of Power existed and I had no reason to look for it because I didn't think someone would write something like this.

But still, throughout those years I thought something isn't right. Why is my life shitty? Am I a shitty person and it is what is destined for myself?

A small change of thinking came when I decided to quit smoking and kept reading comments that people recommended the easy way book, how to quit smoking. I was looking for laughs - how a book can make me quit and had a mindset of nothing to lose. I read it and was blown away about the concepts described there. It took me some time to quit, but without this book I wouldn't be able to. A change of thinking.

That way I also quit alcohol (it was more difficult due to social pressure and by drinking most of my life I couldn't cope with emotions in a healthy way - something bad happens? time for a drink etc.)

When nobody visited me in hospital after failed suicide attempt (I couldn't cope with illness and LTR) I had some sort of epiphany that I must change everything. This is when I cut all my "friends" off.

Then when browsing Youtube, randomly, I found someone recommending 48 Laws of Power and that this book has changed his life. I was convinced that I have to read it and I read it.

This is when I realised my whole life was a lie.

When I was looking for similar books I found TRP and started reading.

Man, I am almost 40 now and I feel I wasted good 20 years of my life and I will not get it back.

But I'll get through it. I am accepting it and I am grateful I learned about it now and not in 10-20 years or never.

I feel bitter, but I am also so happy!

Given what I have gone through I know it is pointless to try to "switch" someone, but giving someone an enabling book like 48 Laws of Power could turn the person on the right path, but the person should do it at their own pace.

First of all, TRP isn't some fucking conspiracy, we're not truthers here. TRP is a mindset that people operate on to become more masculine leaders that America so desperately lacks. It's a set of principles that you live by.

Second, you should never be ashamed of or hide what you believe in. If you wanna talk Red Pill with people, then fucking talk regardless of what people think. But don't bring up your observation to the public internet, and then analyze that person's reaction to TRP in an anti societal circle jerk with other try hard idiots and wannabe's.

TRP is misunderstood by society and people hate what they don't understand because it challenges and frustrates them. Beyond that, who gives a fuck. If you're talking about why people hate TRP then you're missing the fucking point. Red Pill-ers don't do this shit because they don't care about being accepted and they don't care why society "hates" them (RPers set the frame, they don't let other people do that for them). However, I get why they do so. I have a lot to be thankful for thanks to the red pill, but, even though I'm gonna get many dislikes for it, there are many extremists in this sub, I'd like to refer to as 'dicks.' And TRP, while truthful in its roots, is definitely not something to always write home about.

Read trp with a filter to see the purpose of it. Read it with the wrong filter and you only see the bad things. It's partly why we are quarantined, and even though we know better, they are not wrong due to these examples

Whenever I do it I always use anecdotal evidence to back it up like “oh in my past whenever I invested all my time into a girl they always threw it in my face”. It depends on the people. If you can find people who are legitimately intelligent with the ability to think for themselves and see the truth when it presents itself, TRP will not shock them. I have literally made my mom and sister read TRP because they're women that I care about and I saw that sometimes they were confused about what was happening to them and their own actions. I gave a copy of the rational male to my sister lol.
