Aim for 20-50 approaches per WEEK. 5 a month is like doing 5 reps a month in the gym and expecting to get buff. Its not nearly enough volume to move the needle for skill development.

I wrote a whole tutorial here on how to emotionally handle "rejection". Feel free to pull it up, i think it will be helpful.

You dont have to hit 20 approaches tomorrow, you can work up to it. But generally i have my students try to ramp up to 20 within a month or two of starting.

Start with just asking for the time if you need to. Don't try to get a number. You're approaching to build a social skill, not to get a result or get a girl to like you.

You need to approach more and don't be too focused on the outcome. It's already a success to be able to approach girls just like that which many guys are too nervous to do. With every approach you get better.

Also your chances at the gym are pretty low. You can still approach there but don't have high expectations

Bro first of all 5 approaches in a month is not enough to feel demoralised about, that's like barely getting started.

The gym is genuinely one of the worst places to approach. Everyone's got headphones in, they're in the zone, they're sweaty and just trying to get their workout done. Even if a girl finds you attractive she's going to be guarded because she has to come back there every day and doesn't want it to be weird. You're basically approaching people who are trapped in a place they need to return to regularly and the "boyfriend" response is just the easiest escape but you probably know that. I'm not saying it can't happen, but why fight an uphill battle? Plus you can make it awkward for yourself.

Do you get any attention when out? I'd hit the bars and clubs. Look for attention, then try to escalate. Will be easier than cold approaching at a gym.

That means to sleep with 1 woman barney needs to talk to like 100 women. It's a sitcom and a bit of an exageration but let's be honest, guys you think are pullin glike crazy, their numbers arent that much more than barney's. 5% at most, and those are guys with years of practice and have learned what to say and what not to say.. They just get better at reading body language, knowing when and how to approach and what to say and how to respond. And even then they likely still only get like 5%. They are just trying more. I promiuse you the guy you think pulls is talking to hundreds of women a month. He just forgets abotu the failures, goes to the next one. Even if that meant he talked to one girl for 30 seconds, got told to fuck off and just went to the next girl.

5 in a month is not trying, especially at th eplace syou tried. You are picking women in locations where they are mentally closed off. Your trying to play the game in super hard mode, just play iit in hard mode like the rest of us.

For me approaching in public places should be more like practice. The best boxers practice in the worst conditions (running in the cold, practice in hot rooms, etc) so that when they are in the ring under the best conditions, it seem easier. That's how you should look at public approaching, not about winning or getting the number, if you are going to do it, do it so that approaching women at bars seems easy in comparison.

I see so many people here saying 5 is less; which it is don’t get me wrong; all the reasons you wrote are excuses if you ask me from them because they don’t want to be rude to you; maybe a change of location might help, Approaching more people will definitely desensitize you to rejection but it doesn’t solve the core problem of why you’re getting rejected in the first place; while it’s a numbers game, there are guys out there who almost never get rejected… I’m not meaning bedroom but the girls are definitely willing to chat at the very least and go hang out….what do you say to them?, can you hold a conversation?, what circumstances do you approach them under?, how do you carry yourself?, how’s your social presence? Most importantly… are you guys compatible?…. I don’t think rejection is the problem…. As with anything if you’re looking for something or someone…. You have to look in the places they are most likely to be; single girls…. Gym…. Maybe???, but I’m sure that most girls go to the gym to workout not to find a date…. There may be some who do…. This is where reps come in the more you do it the easier it’ll be to find out where your ideal person is

Honestly bro, 5 rejections isn’t failure at all, it’s barely a sample size. Track process goals instead: clean open, steady eye contact, calm exit, done. If you improve those 1% each outing, numbers catch up later. Rejection hurts less when each rep has a skill target attached to it. And my best advice is to get the reps on an app called 'RizzRise'. it's a fun, gamified app on iPhone that's help u bring emotional spikes to ur convo.

Why would your morale be affected? Have you considered the possibility they actually do have boyfriends and aren't on the market? Have you considered it's not a line, it's the truth. I don't understand why you all insist on "day game" when it's an inefficient waste of time. The majority of "random" people you meet in the wild are going to be in a relationship of some level. Because the majority of the population are in a relationship of some level. Being single is already a minority.

The four that told you they had a boyfriend likely had a boyfriend. That's not a loss. That's not a rejection. No sale was ever possible from the start.

How are you approaching them? There’s things you can do that will get most women to reject you. Being overly nervous like speaking too quickly, putting her on a pedestal, seeking validation, not coming off as masculine etc.
