27, M. My first (and only gf) broke up with me back in December and I've been single all year. I was pretty wrecked for a few months but since June I've been going out more, mostly to clubs. I think I've been doing better with myself. I've loosened up quite a bit, and have had brief interactions with people, even made out with a girl at a club once, but that's the best luck I've had. Everyone I meet who I exchange socials with never stay in touch. Maybe I'm just impatient but the year is over halfway through and I've not had a meaningful connection with anyone. I enjoy going out and can have fun on my own well enough but it gets tiring always being a lone wolf. I've also been very sexually frustrated lately, I'm nearing 30 and have had only one gf/sexual partner my entire life and that existential dread is killing me. Meeting anyone online feels more impossible than winning the lottery, I never get any activity online across all the dating platforms I use. I also live an hour from the nearest town so I can't go out more than once a week. I'm tired of being trapped in my humdrum life, I'm just dying to meet someone again. I just have no idea where to meet anyone and it's really depressing me.
