But if it were someone you’ll likely see/be around, I would flip the switch and be completely platonic. This really depends on the context but always take it with grace. If you’re having a good time with someone and you get lightly rejected you don’t have to walk away unless either one of you is uncomfortable with the situation, especially if you’re friends. I’ve been out with guy friends/coworkers in the past who tried to flirt or get closer and I’d have to politely turn them down and I always appreciated when they just took it in stride and we just kept on doing whatever it was we were doing.
