This is an update to my tiny success story I posted about 5 days ago. To summarize it was about me moving on, realizing I was a good dad and starting to date again.

Well I have to laugh and share this story with someone.

So previously I met someone... who I thought was different. Good looking and in shape. A pleasant surprise. We had matched on Bumble.

I chatted with her on the app a bit. She and I made intentions pretty clear. We both got out of long relationships and wanted to get to know each other before getting into a new relationship.

We quickly moved off the app and began talking. Nothing crazy here. We moved to a physical meetup quickly. I was pleasantly surprised that she looked BETTER than her online photos.

We progressed to having "dates" at the gym and going for coffee after. It was fun. We did this a few times. My first wtf am I doing moment was instead of coffee like me, se ordered herself a full breakfast.... hmmm.

We progressed to going to her house the next day and this is where it just went all twilight zone. We picked up drinks and my second wtf am I doing moment happens. I go through the drivethrough and she gets me to buy her child a meal. Hmmm. We go back to her place. Child was with family friend at home. First she says do you mind if I smoke... well in her profile it said no smoking. Then she proceeds to tell me about her prior drug history... and current drug use. I immediately checked out mentally. I am thinking... ok I have wasted a few bucks on this dork but I cant leave just yet. Lets just listen.

She talks about all her fucked up history. Failed pregnancy at 19 all the way to current day. Her job ends in 6 months. She doesnt own house she is in. She then asks me to help her CUT THE GRASS.

Now, I just might be retarded.

I actually volunteer to help her. I do lawn care basically professionally so to do a bit not a big deal. Why did I do this? Because I am not over my simp nonsense behavior. Thats why.

I help her out and we awkwardly just kinda stand there after. Its Saturday afternoon and she has no plans but doesnt offer to do anything with me after.

I go home. She texts me something and I ask her a question. No response until next day like 14 hours later. Who knows what she was doing then lmao.

I text her today that no way this is going anywhere and yadda yadda yadda bye.

Next stop turn into a monk. Fuck dating. Its brutal especially if you are as dumb as I am.
