I am following a fitness influencer on Instagram. Yesterday she posted a story of picking up her boyfriend’s socks off the floor and throwing them in the washing machine, asking “Why are men like that, is this so hard to do?”

Cue countless pickmes DMing her like “hehe my boyfriend is the same I don’t know what to do it’s so annoying hehe” and she shared those DMs she got urging women to go on strike and stop doing that so the men would learn. Then she asked her followers whether they’re joining said strike.

I DMed her saying “Men are like that because they’re still expecting mommy to pick up after them but they’re also older now so they also expect sex on top of that”, she sent me 😂😂😂 adding “You have a point”

Then I said “As for your strike to stop picking up socks, I am not joining since I never pick up socks to begin with and have a man by my side, not a child. A man who is fantastic at chores and thus I am happy and not turned into a maid.”

She didn’t respond to me but shared a story of her boyfriend texting her “Those socks on the floor are clean, I throw the dirty ones in the washing machine, stop trying to get fame and viewers using me, slut” and she put all sorts of laughing emojis and comments like “true love” on this story 😩😩😩 iT wAs A jOkE

Why is this the norm and women are proud of that? It’s hopeless y’all.
