I'm so tired of these questions. There's one thing and one thing only you as a woman need to know: I'd rather date the girl who enjoys me and is into me than the girl who isn't. This is the only thing that matters if you're above ugly. Not make-up, not shoes, not hair, not nails, not academic degreee, not profession, not weight, ... (Some exceptions of course.).

I've said it before. All a woman's looks needs to be is "good enough". That threshold is different for every man, but once it is passed the women looks good enough to be girlfriend/wife material. After that, everything else is far more important.

For me, intelligence is hot. It's the number 1 trait I find attractive. I'd pick Becky the physics nerd over Stacy the supermodel every time.

all else being equal, the dumb one. looks are obviously important, but her personality, attitude, demeanor, etc matter more than intelligence. i would much rather have a dumb woman who i enjoy being around over a smart woman who is bitchy and annoying

in real life there is not that much difference except at the very extremes. very very few women are extremely intelligent or stupid, and those women aren't really a consideration because they don't really participate in the sexual/romantic marketplace.

most moderately above average intelligence women aren't really very different from the rest. they're smart but they still like to look pretty and get attention from hot guys and look at social media and follow celebrity BS and go out dancing and having fun.

a lot of nerd guys say they want an intelligent woman, but it's because they don't have a lot of experience with real women. what they're really after is a woman with a borderline autistic male nerd brain. someone like their male friends that they can be nerdy with but also has a pussy. it's not a very realistic view of what women are like.

and fwiw, mayiam bialik is specifically intended to appeal to those guys. not just on tv, her whole "i'm a smart woman. neuroscience." act in real life is kind of a BS character too.

Well between Candy and Amy, I'd definitely choose Candy. Yes, the former is dumb, but she seems kind and feminine and fun, whereas Amy is a fucking bore. Even if they were the same level of attractiveness, I'd pick Candy. Also Amy is pretty ugly, not "slightly below average".

Intelligence only matters to me insofar as intelligent people are easier to talk to and get along with in general. Some woman's neuroscience degree does nothing for me, in and of itself.

Most dumb women I've met are pretty boring as well, so I'd go with the latter in a general case.

Holding everything else bar looks and intelligence constant, I'd take the smart woman, because the company of morons is absolutely painful and if I am in a "long term relationship" with someone their company needs to actually be a positive.

All other things being equal I choose pretty over smart.

Personality/compatibility/chances of her leaving me are way more important than intelligence. Intelligence is onl y important because it can be a factor in other areas. If it isn't, if both are equal in everything but looks and intelligence then I go for looks. I am not looking for deep conversations when I am looking for a partner. I have friends for that.

Note: highly educated is often negatively correlated with smart, witty, thoughtful, and curious.
