One thing I am confused by is, isn't circumcision already illegal? We already have laws against assault, battery, sexual assault, and rape; and that's what circumcision is (some states define rape differently, but I'm sure some states circumcision would be considered rape if the law were applied consistently). Trying to pass specific laws doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Shouldn't the focus be on trying to pressure prosecutors to prosecute these things that are already crimes? Or if that doesn't work, we could put try to put in prosecutors that are already on our side on this. At the very least, we intactivists should focus on getting law degrees so they can try and become prosecutors to prosecute these crimes.
