Is an example of women making a virtue out of their own necessity. Women go through pregnancy while men do not.

Therefore it biologically and evolutionarily makes sense that women are going to be more selective in who they have kids with (aka genes such as height and face), but they're also going to be more likely to raise it up because they already had to invest pregnancy.

Men on the other hand are less selective in who they have kids with (all it costs is a nut), but obviously they aren't going to want to invest resources in a kid who might have a genetically undesirable mother. He's going to want to spend his time and resources on kids whose mother also has good genes.

Having a high value man's kids and then demanding that society help you take care of them and not blame you "Waaaaah I'm the parent that stayed", is not virtuous at all, but extremely selfish, entitled, and shows a lack of personal responsibility.

You became a single mom because you wanted those genes, nothing more nothing less.
