To me, equivalent of a man not watching porn is a woman not posting pictures of herself on social media and not following many of the current media who just hate men and of course not engaging in the hookup culture, but not at all a woman who just does not watch porn.

A woman posting on social media doesn’t hurt her performance or make her want sex less. If there were some vice that made a woman want sex with her partner less, which just posting on social media doesn’t, then this would probably be the equivalent.

Porn isn’t a problem for typically developing people. It’s a problem when it is a habit or replacement for human companionship. No woman wants to deal with a death grip, no woman wants a dead bedroom because her lover wastes his efforts on jerking off instead of mutually beneficial sex. No woman wants a lover who has weaned himself on increasingly depraved porn and expects spontaneous anal or choking or a dozen other one-sided, selfish fetishes. And no woman anywhere wants to deal with a man who believes the women in commercial porn are actually excited and having an orgasm, because that man will invariably attempt to copy what he witnessed and then get angry when a real, live lover doesn’t respond with histrionic squeals and demon-possessed seizures.

Your equivalent is wrong. Either way people can have whatever boundaries or deal breakers that they want in a relationship.

No woman has to date a man who would rather watch porn than have sex with her.

No woman has to date a man who wants her to emulate everything that he sees happening in porn.

No woman has to date a man who watches porn if she finds the behavior repulsive.

Just as no man has to date a woman who posts on social media.

No one has to put up with or deal with shit that they find repulsive or annoying in a relationship.

Some people don't like porn nor do they want to date people who consume porn. Get over it. Date people who also watch porn and/or do not have a problem with porn.

I don't understand why people try to browbeat people they're not compatible with into dating them. Even if someone CAN convince a person who hates porn to date them, it's always going to be a point of contention in the relationship because they hate porn. It makes no sense to even attempt to make a relationship like this to work. It's like a straight edge person who believes that drugs are morally bad chooses to date an absolute tweaker. It makes no sense.

Being an adult means that people have the autonomy to choose who they pick as their partner. IF someone watches porn, they should CHOOSE to date someone who doesn't have an issue with it.

Watching porn is fine if you're not addicted to it and it isn't affecting your life in a negative way, the same is true about posting pictures of yourself of social media.

But did you notice that as equivalent of not watching porn you listed 3 things for women? That's not how equivalence works. The equivalent of women engaging in the hookup culture is men engaging in the hookup culture, and the equivalent of women following men hating media is men following women hating media

You're still wrong, it's not equivalent. The betrayal in my man watching porn is that he's looking at and getting sexual gratification from other women. Some people don't care about that shit, but that's a boundary we both agreed on in our relationship. The equivalent to that would be me watching other men and getting sexual gratification from that. Whether or not I post photos of myself on insta or follow a feminist online is wholly unrelated. You're still allowed to make boundaries about that shit if you want, but it'd wholly unrelated to porn usage.

I partially agree with you, but only partially because as someone who has struggled with porn addiction I know firsthand it’s much worse than posting bikini pics on Instagram. I don’t think it’s healthy at all for women to do this however, and it affects lots of women who don’t live up to an ideal body type either. If a girl is in a relationship I don’t quite understand showing cleavage and bikini pics myself unless it’s with her man. Modesty hardly exists anymore yet it will always be classy.

At a certain point twisting one off whether to porn or anything else is not so much for the sexual gratification as it is a result of the boredom found in life according to studies from years past. Don't really know much about social media. But I have noticed that whenever I see someone's eyes locked on his or her smartphone I rarely see an expression of enthusiasm.
