My biggest fear is not being pumped and dumped, dude. That's categorical chump change compared to fearing rape, assault, murder, and abuse, especially if God forbid I had children involved.

If I go second order, being abandoned or cheated on while pregnant would rank way higher. Him just dying or being killed why I was pregnant or before our children were raised ranks higher.

A man cheating on me ranks higher.

Being pumped and dumped sucks, it's outraging. It's not scary. No one is quaking in their boots or shedding frightened tears over a dude lying to them and using them like a sock.

There is no way that is women’s biggest fear in dating. Have you ever actually asked women what their fear would be??? I would have thought what it really is would be obvious, but apparently not?

My biggest fear when dating was being sexually assaulted. It’s very scary to have a new man in your bedroom where he can use his strength to harm you, knowing there are men who want to hurt women like that and would take advantage of the situation (and having experienced men try it or knowing women it’s happened to, we know this is an actual risk). Some men also drug women at the bar/restaurant in case she wouldn’t take him home, then just lead her out to his car in her drugged state. Next biggest fear would be getting a stalker, I know women who went on a date or two and ended up with a stalker, and they can harass and terrify you for years.

If we take out violence-related stuff that other comments have mentioned already, I'd say both men and women fear being cheated on and betrayed in their long-term relationships, especially marriage. Men also have a fear of paternity fraud but I'm not sure how many men think about it at all.

Most guys can enjoy a relationship while recognizing that the woman's attraction is multi-dimensional and that they might lose out to other guys if the competition was purely physical. I mean if a guy can get good sex and love why is he going to worry about all of this "billy beta," crap. Some TRP guys are just determined to be unhappy victims no matter what though. I mean most of the time you're all complaining bitterly about women caring about looks and overlooking average guys with good personalities. But then you turn around and say your biggest fear is that a woman might pick you for your personality. Women's biggest dating fear is generally being raped, abused or worse. That's something that's present in nearly all women's minds when trying to date. Second to that would probably be unwanted pregnancy but it's a) not as bad as the above and b) not applicable to everyone. There isn't quite an equivalent fear that's this prevalent for men, although individual men will have a variety of worries. I'd say unwanted pregnancy would probably be the top one, although for obvious reasons it'd be less of a worry than for women.

I never feared that i am not desired sexually and i never cared about previous partners. My biggest fear is to have sex with a woman who decides she will keep the baby after a pregnancy accident. This complete lack of power over the consequences for my life is overwhelming if left to think about. Luckily, sex drive is stronger and pushes those thoughts away.
