I actually think rejection sensitivity plays a larger role in Redpill, PPD and relationship content in the manosphere than is credited. And this would be somewhat be more pronounced in us men, of course, given that societal expectation follows that we should pursue and the women either accepts or declines. Therefore, we're probably more frequently exposed to it. I've got a few private thoughts on Redpill being a direct consequence or outcome of the disorder (which is completely understandable, barring the sort of nasty discourse), but that's neither here nor there.

But do you feel like there's a way to navigate rejection that doesn't impact the ego or self-esteem? I feel like the sensitivity coupled with the constant comparisons that we draw between ourselves, and others are a primary cause for the bitterness and tone that sort of seeps into these types of conversations.

Because, at the end of the day, it's still a woman's right to decline a dude's advances for whatever reason she deems necessary. But it just doesn't serve us to writhe and rage about it, even if our disappointment is understandable and even somewhat natural. The wilds are probably teeming with sexually frustrated animals. Only difference is that, while a bear may feel the effects of his spurned attempts, that's as far as it goes; he won't slink back to his den and bemoan how much of a loser he is. Bears don't have that sort of agency. We kinda do, though, is the thing.

So, is there a way we can navigate rejection better? Or are our ego and self-image just sort of necessary sacrifices in an effort to find a partner? And how do you find it to make that sacrifice, if so?
