so at the risk of being diagnosed as any form of neurodivergent, after hearing this sentence in different contexts, i have to ask, what does it mean to treat someone else as a human being? i think the dehumanization of men in general could be a good topic for another post, but i have heard a lot that "just treat women as people" or "just treat women as human beings" as either advice for men in progressive spaces or as complaints of women on those same places (as in, men don't treat me as a human being, being objectified etc)

and it always seems to be something super obvious that a lot of men in relationships totally do but lonely men somehow cant seem to grasp, yet a lot of men who apparently dont treat women as human beings also dont struggle to date, in fact, with how many women complain about them, one would think they are actually very succesdull at it.

tho even more than that, the platitude seems to be given as advice, probably as actionable advice, i guess? but i just dont know what steps would a guy take to treat a woman as a human being.

and i would rather not have anything to do with this topic, as im not dating nor trying to date, but im honestly really curious, as this place has to have some overlap with other progressive spaces, and im sure you have come across with this discourse, for lack of a better term.
