For those unaware, the men's first love theory basically states that men never really get over their first love, and that men are subconsciously looking for a woman who resembles his first love.

What I find really interesting about this theory is that, if it's true, shouldn't more women want to be a man's first girlfriend? If the theory is true and you enter a relationship with a man who's been in multiple relationships, you're not really being loved for who you are, but because you remind him of someone else.
Women in general seem to be mostly turned off by a guy who's never been in a relationship before, but if men are always always trying to find someone who matches their first girlfriend, wouldn't you want to be that first girlfriend?
