Okay. So...

A little background. Before I found seddit, I ALWAYS called women. And I actually had great success with it. But then, I started reading online about texting, and then I eventually found seddit, and most guys on here swore by it. So I decided to switch it up.

Little did I know, the advice of, "text the girl only for logistics and ping here once in a while" was probably the worst advice I've ever received. So, without further ado..

Calling vs. texting. It seems that every guy on here loves to text, swears by it, and for some reason, tells other men not to call women.

Not to mention, only text women for logistics (in other words, just text her to set up plans). The reasoning behind this is, "I'd rather get to know her in person than over text" and, "I don't have time to text", or, "I'd rather play it safe and not text so much, because I might fuck it up and lose the 'attraction' that I established before I get her number".

I'm here to tell you that this is all bullshit, and I'll tell you why.

I do a lot of day game during the week, as well on weekends. I rack of lots of numbers. Keep in mind, my interaction are fairly short with them (anywhere from 2-3 minutes, then get the number). So I decided to experiment with all these numbers, with calling vs. strictly texting. This is what I found:

Texting

  • Most women flaked
  • Most of them either stopped responding or kept making excuses not to meet up

Calling

  • Almost all of them I've met up with
  • They call me or contact me first now, instead of the other way around
  • I've been sexual, on some level, with all of them

I've sort of always knew that calling was better. There's some pretty obvious reasons why.

  • It shows maturity
  • Your deep vocal tone, you can express it to a woman. That's sexy to her.
  • It's way more personal than texting. She invests more emotionally into you than anyone else
  • Most men strictly text. If you call, and actually get her on the phone, you're already ahead of the pack
  • I actually love talking to women on the phone, getting to know them. They can sense that.
  • It builds comfort

The last point is THE most important. Listen, we all know it's true, but no-one seems to want to say it.

If you just met a girl, and had a short interaction with her, it doesn't matter how "attracted" she is to you.

SHE DOES NOT KNOW YOU. YOU ARE A STRANGER.

I find it absolutely insane when guys some guys on here are super quick to 'next' a girl. Haha, holy shit. Especially if they flake on the first date or something. She's flaking because she DOESN'T KNOW YOU. SHE'S NOT COMFORTABLE MEETING UP WITH SOMEONE SHE DOESN'T KNOW.

It has NOTHING to do with whether she's "attracted" to you initially. Newsflash, you're a stranger. You NEED to make her comfortable to meet up with you - and the best way to do that, is to call her.

I had few girls flake on me recently. I said fuck it, picked up the phone and called them. 2 of them never got back to me, but two of them did. The two that did went from flakey to meeting up to being sexual with.

Talk to her on the phone for 15-20 minutes. Express how cool and non-threatening you are. Talk about your day. Hers. Make her laugh. At at the end of it, make plans for the next day or day after that. I promise you, she will meet up with you and not flake.

In conclusion, in my own practical, first hand experience, calling > texting. Period. It does SO much more for you and her and so many levels.
