Granted, make good grades and try hard. But understand that being the most popular kid in high school won't matter for shit after you graduate.

The most popular kids at my high school still live in the same town and hang out with the same people. There's nothing inherently wrong with this, but realize there's a world out there ready to shape you into a better, more interesting individual.

I highly recommend reading "Models" by Mark Manson. To me, I've never read a book that put seduction into a more perfect perspective.

Oneitis is bad at any age and they definitely shouldn't spend a single second worrying about routines and other crutches.

But the basic principles are important to anyone old enough to be interested in romance. Learning the principles at that age is what every teenager should be doing. It's literally how people "play" at that age. Many of them will figure things out on their own, but as we all know very well, there are many more that could use some mentoring.

Why? In the US maybe sex isn't important to under 18 year olds. In Denmark where I come from we start at 14-15... so when you are 16 and still a virgin - its only natural to start to look for advice.

OP seems to be arguing one huge strawman? It makes the point that what this whole subreddit is teaching fairness and trickery. If anything wouldn't the tricks and pick up be better for younger girls? I think it's the older amongst us that shouldn't be using the tricks. When I was sixteen I was using pickup lines on random girls and it was cute. I would go up behind girls and grind on them at homecoming and say stupid things as an opener to talk to girls. No way could I get away with that stuff these days.

This subreddit is more appropriate for the younger, in my opinion. Worst case scenario they'll act a bit more mature, possibly.

I would say that it's a bit ridiculous for kids that are 14 and 15 to be here looking to become PUAs that early, but it isn't a bad idea for them to at least read a little bit on how to be more social. I know when I was that age I was really awkward and kinda antisocial, and reading some of the things here has really helped me develop more socially. Kids should be themselves, but not be afraid to look for advice on how to be social. Some kids just straight up have trouble socializing with people of the opposite sex.

I did know about this junk at 15 and it did an incredible amount for my social awareness. It motivated me to try to talk to people. Studying pua helped me figure out who I am.

Sure, 14 year olds shouldn't be worrying about night game, but some of the basic ideas that try to break down conversations identity are invaluable.

I mean, I get where you're coming from. Living life without the crushing worry that one lives with now is a wonderful thing. But alot of these 'kids' are already stressed by girls and new social situations. Let's not pretend that high school is all hoola-hoops and catching tadpoles by the creek. It's more social hoops and catching a buzz by the creek.

I first visited this sub when I was 15. I'm now 17 in a happy and healthy relationship. I have built a network of friends ranging from athletes to academic robots. All of this wouldn't be possible if i hadn't took what i learned from this sub and applied it to my life. For all my fellow minors, this sub contains a lot of information, however, if you don't go out there and do something with that information, it's useless.

I disagree. When I found this sub it showed me how to better carry myself. I used to avoid eye contact with people and would always walk around with my head down, fumble over words etc etc. But when I found this sub and I started to use the methods I felt more presentable and noticeable.

And as for conversations I was terrible at them and always over thought instead of contributing to the conversation. But here I found out how to hold conversations better and not talk to people like I'm interviewing them.

I'm not sure man. I came out of a real fuckin weak relationship where I was full nice-guy mode, complete doormat with zero confidence beyond that gained from "Well I'm confident enough to be a nice guy to women" etc. when I was about 15/16, if it weren't for a period of basically just bossing it at every house party I went to and every holiday I went on (can't remember if I was on this sub back then) I wouldn't be anywhere near as confident or well rounded today. Granted I don't really do pickup any more even though I'm still subscribed, but it was honestly a hugely helpful part of my socialization as a kid.

I don't agree. I wish I had known about how to be a more sociable and seductive person 26 years ago when I was 14. I missed out on a lot of things because I wasn't.

But that said, what applies as seduction when your are 14 is different to when you are 40. The basics are the same (keep it fun, be interesting etc.), but the interests/opportunities/social interaction/whatever of the both the object of desire and one self is vastly different than later on in life.

My advice would be "Read this subreddit, then go out and explore."

I read all of this.. And tried to apply it to real girls. I ended up overthinking everything. I thought that I wasn't good enough because I only had two girlfriends at 16. Had a phase where I was really insecure because of this subreddit, too.

Then I started thinking about it for myself.. Figured out that all of this is bullshit, that I should just go out and learn for myself. I've always been good with people in general, I don't need this shit.

I'm happy where I am right now. This sub had a few good tips, but overall it just didn't help me, at all.

Who's to say that we cannot be the catalyst for the new age of dating? This post contradicts everything that /r/seduction stands for. Now we have become mainstream society and we're telling people under 18 how to think and behave.

Just like mainstream society, we are keeping them in a box that they cannot come out of until we say so. We need to stop the cycle, and that starts with allowing people of all ages and join the sub Reddit.
