My friend and I get in the same dating app. We do the exact same pose (to test ourselves). I wear the clothes I usually wear, he dresses more like a “fuckboi”. He’s tatted, I’m not. He wears a beanie in the summer. He’s 5’10 and I’m 5’5.

You can’t have game if women flock you first ON A DATING APP. Now I love my bro to death and am happy for him. But there’s also that confidence that comes from him BECAUSE of his naturally good looks. Women just approach first, and give him all the validation he needs. Guys like us need to somehow come up with it from thin air. Either that, or get rejected enough that you don’t care anymore. Now, I’ve been buddies with him since high school(we’re both 31 now) and we have the same taste in girls (ABGs and FOB Asians). In high school I’d be hanging with him and some new girls would walk up to us and be like, “oh are you guys from (high school)”? Or something along the lines to initiate a conversation. He’d then be the center of conversation with MULTIPLE girls, and no matter how hard I try to be open, outgoing, and fun, I ultimately get phased out of the group. Some of my friends have the same experience. Fast forward it still happens in my 20s hanging with him. I’d get 0 action, and women approach him and subconsciously give me the cold shoulders when I talk to some of them. Absolutely being a normal guy, just talking to them to see what’s up.

Things start to look better when I go off solo and approach some girls, get rejected by dozens of them. But I was able to shoot my shot with them at the very least.

Point is: Looks DO matter. It gets your foot in the door and approval from women. Some women will still require you to do the approaching, but the majority of women will find you hot enough they’ll do the approaching. I’ll agree that it doesn’t mean guys don’t have a chance, but the amount of effort and confidence needed is VASTLY more than the guys who already had validations on their laps, which also helps with their self confidence.

“Pretty privilege” is a real thing. It warps their weltanschauung. A lot of them honestly believe that if your cat breaks down on the side of the road, people will miraculously appear to help them out. Whether it’s a flat tire or a full blown out transmission, “angels disguised as humans” appear out of nowhere to save/help them.

In their world, people say hello to each other, everybody smiles at everybody and they experience the entire world through rose colored glasses, where the waiters are extra attentive, cops overly generous in looking the other way, etc.

The ones who know that they are pretty will often use this to get ahead, take advantage of people using their looks. Many of us have a hard time saying no to a set of pretty eyes batting their eyelashes at us, don’t we? I realize that it’s a weakness and a character flaw on my part and I’ve been diligently working on it, to not place pretty people on a pedestal.

The ones who know they’re pretty and take advantage of people and situation will work very hard on their appearance (looks maxing, I believe it’s called?) so that they can continue on this pattern of using people as long as they can without cultivating the timeless, inner sense of beauty like kindness, a sense of humor, intelligence, or empathy, etc. they honestly believe that they are entitled to be treated differently.

Then, when their looks fade as they get older and their looks fade, they enter the world as it is, no longer shrouded in the opulent veil of pretty privilege, they furrow their brow in frustration and the inability to understand what has changed, not realizing that it’s them.

Because they never took the time to cultivate their timeless, inner beauty, they don’t understand why this is happening and end up bitter and angry at the world.

A lot of boomers are suffering from this right now. A version of this, anyway. So many of them self absorbed and the center of the universe, where anything short of prostrating before them in worship is a grave offense, the most ridiculous of us demanding to be taken seriously and with respect without having done anything to earn it, willing to put anyone down just to get a leg up, have no qualms about cheating the system (ANY SYSTEM) so long as they are unaffected by it, ESPECIALLY if they can profit from it. They’ll participate with glee if it serves dual purpose of them profiting while actively hurting others. That’s orgasmic for them.

The ones who are pretty who don’t know they’re pretty are the ones who don’t take things for granted, who cultivate their inner beauty, are thoughtful, kind with a sense of humor and not taking things too seriously is incredibly rare and are worthy of their attraction.

So how does one attract someone so attractive?

The answer is simple. Become the person worthy of attraction. There are many paths up this mountain. Beauty, wealth, charm, intelligence, etc.

In short, be better.

No path is easy but it’s well worth the work, since you’re attracting by becoming better. The quality of your potential chamber mates will increase and as that pool increases, naturally the higher the categories for selection becomes.

I believe this is what the PUA mean when they are talking about high value versus low.

Self improvement, though masterbatory in its definition, is never a waste of time and will aid you in every aspect of your endeavors.

Idk what world you guys live in but at least in the states - most couples are looks matched. If you want to be with a more attractive partner, you have to work on yourself heavily. I disagree. I think it is indifference. I do not see it as rejection because it is just another roll of the dice that will eventually pay off in my favor. Caring too much about a woman's beauty is what sets you up for feeling despondent and rejected. I rarely go out of my way to chat up women any more but you are giving too much power to women when you think like this. Banging girls is a numbers game and finding the good ones out of that pool is a matter of watching their behavior towards you over time. Women decide if they like you within ten seconds usually so it is okay to move on very quickly with indifference. Only pay attention to women that choose you first.
