The problem is you are worried you are way behind in life. You should be having fun, taking action, and not caring about these outcomes. You can be crushing it in your 30s, 40s, 50s, etc…

But instead you’re “worried”. Your limiting factor is your current mindset and lack of action.

You can bag plenty of young 20s women in your 30s. There are even guys in their 40s that still kill it with girls in their 20s. Many girls prefer to be with an older man and love the experience and wisdom that you bring. It’s a double edged sword though… because you have to run tight game (no neediness or insecurities) or she will look at you like even more of a beta loser than the guy in his 20s who displays the same behaviors. The expectations are higher for the 30yr old than the 20 yr old, but as long as you meet them you are more than golden.

I see this all the time.... Yes, age is a limiting factor.. So is: baldness, fatness, shortness, poor looking face, brokenness, lack of style, poor teeth and hygiene, lack of sense of humor. etc, etc.

You can usually get away with one or two limiting factors and still have a chance. I'd rather be 40 and fit than 20 and very fat! I'd rather be 38 with money than 28 and broke.

I'm about to turn 40 and it's hard to date the hot girls (I don't care about age a lot but the hottest ones are usually younger) It's hard to date them now but it was also hard when I was 23 so I keep trying and I have some luck every now and then.

You are in the fine range presently but beyond 35 you'll have to be a cool person , kind and in decent shape. If you're tall 6'3+ you can pretty much do it forever if you wish.

If/when you have a little voice inside your head saying you are too old to be getting beautiful 20-somethings, tell it to shut up because there are plenty of guys in their 40s doing it. My wife is 19 years younger.

I think you can still have some fun times, but most women who aren't crazy or carrying baggage/emotional issues won't want to seriously date someone too much older than them. They might hookup or have have a FWB/casual relationship. But any thing serious will usually be a no.

Or let me put it this way, any early 20's women that you'd want to tie yourself to in any way would balk at the idea of seriously dating a guy who's 8, 9, 10 years older than them.

That said you're just turning 30 so its not completely off the table, go out and get that dating experience, just tailor your expectations.

Depends on your looks. If you’re balding with a dad bod and you’d dress like a boomer things aren’t going to work out in your favor.

Your “flaws” are only a limiting factor, if you act ashamed/defensive/apologetic about those “flaws”. I put flaws in brackets because acting like your current attributes (age, physique, sex, height… etc), are a flaw, can actually make the woman feel turned off, not because of the atribuye being a flaw but because you feel that it should be a flaw and are acting like it.

Women only respect men who own who they are, who accept themselves as they are, who don’t apologise for who they are, and who are comfortable in their own skin.

I am almost 31 and it has never been easier to get women. Definitely try to move downtown or into a more dense area, dress nice, and make decent money. I do have the benefit of being 6’4” and a white man but in my city money is really really important to all the women I’m into. You need to offer something exciting because the hot girls get literally any rich guy they want and free trips etc. somehow the girls I know are always travelling and at exclusive events simply because they have social media followings of 30k-1 million+.
