I've coached guys with their dating life before. By far the most common mistake I see (and have made numerous times myself) is when guys finally find a girl they click with on the first couple dates, think "she's different", drop all their game and stop talking to other women. Men tend to be very fixated on our outcomes especially in dating, and we know if we like the girl way faster than she knows if she likes us.

What this does to a lot of guys is it makes us lose all our game and put her on a pedestal. Girls can ALWAYS tell when the guy they're talking to likes her more than she likes him. It reeks of low self-esteem. There's nothing more repulsive to women than a man who doesn't think highly of himself.

Having multiple options makes you less needy. You won't be hung up all day on when she'll text you back, you won't be forcing constant meet-ups, and your mission won't be to get her to like you. The mindset shift will be "let the best girl win", and waiting to see who YOU like the most.

Even if you do not have multiple options, ALWAYS act like you are talking to multiple other girls unless you are in a committed relationship with her.

Not to mention, girls can fall off at ANY time. You have one girl who hasn't committed yet, and all of a sudden she's gone and you have zero.
