I disagree. As a rule I never use anything that is true to insult. Like, I will never call a fat person fat, like what is the point, they probably know it and it is a low blow. Generic neutral words like "asshole", "idiot", "fool", "loser", something more or an intent than direct meaning.

I don't know if this post was inspired by AOC thing, but this is the most stupid way to insult a specific person by shitting on a big part of demography which the target is not even a part of.

I don’t support insults. If you have an issue with someone, simply explain why.

You say that insults lessen as one ages, which is generally true, but something that people don’t seem to count is insults of implication.

For example, you don’t need to call someone stupid to highlight their stupidity. Merely saying something like, “Ask person X to help you.” implies that they aren’t as smart or capable as person X.

For one thing I think you can say almost any insult you want, except for the following which I'll outline in this paragraph. But when you insult somebody you reveal your own values too. Let's push this to the extreme, if somebody yells racial slurs at another person, would you take them seriously if they said they weren't racist and thought this would be the best way to rattle the other person? The obvious answer is of course not. The fact of the matter is they thought that race was something to be insulted over and they revealed their own values by doing so. This is the prime example of insults it's unacceptable to use.

Please nobody insinuate that I'm comparing racial insults in their harmfulness to any of the following. I'm very specifically writing this to say that the scale of harm is not comparable at all. The only reason I included the above is that we agree universally in this case that insults reveal the insulter's thought process. Now that I've typed that, I'll proceed.

When you insult somebody by saying they have a "small dick", you ARE body shaming them. When you insult somebody with "virgin" or "1ncel", you ARE virgin shaming them. You have to own that. I think these are insults that are usable, but you don't get to run away and pretend you didn't just judge them like you did. I don't approve of calling women sluts, but if I did do that, I would have to take full responsibility of the fact that I just judged her for being sexually promiscuous. The list of things it's unacceptable to insult somebody on is quite small in my opinion. The principle that you have to own the words you chose is universal, for all insults.

An insult is in the tone/intent, not the words. Its to "hurt" someone. Your insecurities are simply a path to that goal. If you had none apparent, I would insult your kids, your wife, your passions, your work. Getting angry when I call your kids little retards isnt due to an insecurity. They might be savants, thats beside the point.

Also I hear real insults on a weekly basis. Blue collar life.

My insults are meant to notify people of their stupidity, failure, and annoyance. They do not depend on the target's mental state at all. Fuck how they feel, my concern is that they're saying or doing things I disagree with, and I'm expressing my displeasure.

Insults only need to hit an "insecurity" if the person on the offense is a fucking bully. In which case fuck them.

See? I just issued an insult with no concern for how "insecure" the other person was.

Now to further elaborate, my insults reference mistakes people have made, not genetic traits they can't change, and especially not ones that are literally not harmful, and ESPECIALLY not ones that I have myself but that I'm being sexist and insulting someone of the other gender for having, and ESPECIALLY not when I'm already known for being a whiny little bitch whenever someone does the same thing to my gender, making me a hypocrite, and ESPECIALLY not traits of that nature that the person I'm insulting doesn't even have, tossing strays at an innocent demographic, thus making myself look like an absolute fucking dumbass as well.

I try to stay away from comments about people's appearance or body type. I don't directly insult people's intelligence, though I may question their reasoning. I don't insult people over their sexual choices.

If I call someone fat as an insult I at least indirectly insult every fat person who hears me or reads my words. It can be really tempting and I won't say I never indulge, but it's rare and I genuinely try not to.

"clit" if they are too physically sensitive

"nice tits" if a man is fat

"are you on your period" if a man is bleeding, implying they are a pussy (goes back to point 1)

A good general rule is to insult the thing you dislike.

If you dislike a politician for being a lying fascist, call him a lying fascist. If you instead call him short and bald, what you're really saying to all the short or bald men who aren't lying fascists is that you view them being short and/or bald as worse than being a lying fascist.

the pupose of insults are to hurt and you are talking about constructive criticism or direct honesty...

in my opinion political correctness shifts a problem/issue if you are not able to tackle the root cause...

telling somebody they have no clue what they talk about or what they say is based on confirmation bias could be an insult but is on an entire different level as slut, incel, pedo, pickme, facist, nazi etc...

I don't prefer any particular insult.

If I had a child and someone was throwing insults at them (accurate or otherwise), I'd have a huge problem with the person, especially an adult, bullying or provoking my kid (or younger family member).

But anyone can insult me however the hell they want.

I'm right with myself and God. Go for it. Let loose. I'm human being with endless flaws, and I've heard it all. Anything outside of a direct threat is meaningless to me. I'd rather someone show me what they really think about me than play nicey-nice and hold their tongue around me out of fear.

Virgin, Loser, Faggot, Sissy, Insecure, Pussy, Cuck etc.

These would all in coming being submissive and passive roles. Where men harmed and shamed for millennials.

Absolutely, there is just my assumption I don't know what is the actual average words men fear the most. Can't speak for all men.
