Same height as me is really, really short. 5 inches shorter is…not a height I even see on women lol.

Neither of those men are men I personally would be attracted to, so I would probably date neither.

5 inches shorter would be 4’ 9” tall. Honestly either would be totally fine. I’m 47 so going 10 years younger is not a big deal anymore. My boyfriend is a few inches taller and 14 years younger than me. I’m not pressed about height, and I prefer younger men in general.

Well, I'll be turning fifty this year, so I think the younger guy. I'll need a spry young buck to bring me mugs of tea and massage my arthritic bones when I get old.

Back in high school I actually did date a guy who was 5 inches shorter and my age. But at 6'0" I'm ludicrously tall for a woman, he was simply normal. Most of my LTRs have been with guys almost exactly my height.

Though I should confess I ended up marrying a man my friend set me up with, he was on the steering committee of a charity that is dear to my heart and he happens to be 6'5". Our offspring are enormous.

I dated women that were shorter than me. For some reason most men are my height or taller.

Anyway. Short men. Not younger. My husband is 3 years younger than me. Thats the max I'm willing to go. If you can't tell me what your starter pokemon of gen 1 is, you are too young for me. If you dont even know the starters of gen 1 you are too young or too old for me.

I'm short enough that 5 inches shorter would be someone medically considered a dwarf.

But also 10 years younger is icky because my age also means that going that young violates the half my age and add 7 rule. And just few years shy of being a minor.

I mean I guess younger if I absolutely had to choose? And only because they'd still be above 21. Barley above, but above.

I'm in my mid 30s and I'll be damned if I'm dating a mid 20s guy, yuck, way too young. I'll take the short guy. I've dated a guy 4 inches shorter than me for a couple years and he was delightful.

I don't think I'd marry any guy at this point. Seems like a fool's errand. I'd like to live with my partner someday but don't really want to get married.

I’m 28 and 5’5”. If I was still dating, I’d for sure go with the same age and shorter option. Not ideal, but I could date a 5’ 28-year old man. 18 year olds were gross when I was 18 and they’re even more gross more now that I’m 28.

Forgot to add, but I only ever dated with serious intentions. If we were compatible enough then sure I’d be open to marrying him

I'm 29. Dating someone who is 19 seems unimaginable to me. But I'm also short (160 cm). Still, I would choose the first guy if the other option is someone 19 years old.

But if i were at least 170 cm, i would glady choose the first one, without hesitation.

A man 10 years younger than me is like a preteen. But if I was a couple years older then, yes. I generally prefer younger men.
