What % of your attraction to a man is physical and what % is everything else?

Probably about 30/ 70 for me unless im ovulating in which case 70/30 but this is the same guy just noticing different things about him. He gets unbelievably handsome that time of the month. Like he always looks good, but wow.

My attraction to a photo of a man is like 50% and after interacting for the 10-20 seconds ‘vibe’ is the other 50%. Longer conversation is unlikely to create chemistry if it wasn’t there from the get go

I’m married now, but maybe like 40-50% physical? And then if I’m actually attracted to his personality too that would be the other 60-50%. But also, if I find him attractive enough by personality, that can lead me to appreciate him physically more than I would have before I knew him if that makes sense? Like maybe bump up the physical attraction by 10% if the personality is good and vice versa bump it down if the personality is bad.

I know that doesn’t make a ton of sense since you physically look how you look whether you are nice or mean or whatever. If he’s a good person and I vibe with him though then it’s like I notice more little things that I would find attractive (like a cute mole or dimples or the way his hair falls) that maybe I wouldn’t initially notice. And if he’s mean and we don’t vibe then even if I initially found him attractive then I notice the little things I find physically unattractive (obnoxious laugh, creepy smile, weird mannerisms).

My man is hot to me. Like I see him and get physical attention from him like his kisses his affection and I enjoy it. He is my type to a T. Long hair, skinny, tatted, no beard. Twinkish and alternative So 50% of my attraction is physical.

The other is his inner beauty. He is kind and thoughtful. He is a goofball. I love how he treats me. How sweet he is with animals. His enthusiasm over the little things. His earnest nature. His supportiveness. A lot of things that get to show over time. I did just initial think he was hot. But also these things as I got to know him.

You’re missing the point. Physical attraction as measured by women is largely binary.

Either a man is possibly fuckable or he’s not.

If he’s not, nothing else matters. If he is, everything else 100% determines his desirability.

Again: a no (not fuckable) is a no. It is always a no. There’s no coming back from a no.

A maybe (possibly fuckable) can very easily become a no once more information is available. It can (far more rarely) become a yes once more information is available.

There is almost never an immediate unconditional “yes” unless significant alcohol / drugs or mental illness is involved.

The specific information required to move from a maybe to a yes, and the weight that parts of it are granted, which determines whether that maybe becomes a yes or a no depends on the woman.

And yes, for some women the degree to which he exceeds the “possibly fuckable” attraction factor can have a lot of weight, some weight, or no weight when measured against other factors.

A man needs to just look non-repulsive for me to be open to him flirting with me.

However I don’t feel sexual attraction without the “everything else” because that’s just how I’m wired. Not in a “Is he a nice guy?” kind of way, it’s more of a… “Does he behave in a way that turns me on?” sort of way.

It’s about 60/40 to be honest. 60 being physicality, 40 being personality. But I will say the personality can ruin the physical very easily.

45% physical and 55% other things. Its nearly 50/50 but how he cardies himself is the most important thing to me

Good looks may get your foot in the door, but being good at sex, funny, and nice and a good cook will over throw any physical qualities I'm not 100% about

I don’t know how to answer this. For me. As far as just sex goes. Men at first sight are a no, maybe or yes. Lots of nos and maybes. Very rare did I ever see a yes. Mostly in my youth and probably while I was ovulating. A no will always be a no unless they change how they look. A maybe and a yes can change through our interactions and how much I get to know about them. A yes can easily become a no. A maybe can move up or down. So for me. You need to be an initial maybe or higher. And then your personality, character, social abilities, extras, etc. matter.

Most people I see range from a 20% to a 60% physical attraction. Thata just your average dude. People below the 20% are completely out for me because they are instantly unattractive. If I interact with the average guy and his behaviour and personality is good he can easily gain %. A lot. Like a 20% guy can gain 40% by personality which makes him incredibly attractive. I had that happen before. Usually by them being very intelligent, articulated, funny, kind, etc. Then suddenly their physical appearance becomes more beautiful.

My husband has a 95% personality for me. I didn't even knew what he looked like when I met him. When I first saw him I thought he wasn't what I wanted. He was probably a 30%. But because of his personality he rose up to a 80% overall. Now he is the most beautiful man I know.
