From what I've read and seen of Red Pill content, my strongest takeaway is that a surprising number of these men are heterosexual but effectively homoromantic.

I know that's going to sound insane to a lot of Red Pill people because, frankly, most of you seem profoundly ignorant about how human relationships and sexuality actually work. But sexual attraction and romantic attraction are not the same thing. You can absolutely be sexually attracted to one gender while being romantically attracted to another.

This is well recognized in psychology and is especially visible within asexual communities, where people regularly distinguish between sexual and romantic attraction. Human attraction is messy and complicated. The neat little boxes people want to put themselves into do not always reflect reality.

The reason I bring this up is because Red Pill spaces often seem bizarrely uninterested in women as actual people.

You claim to want relationships with women, yet the overwhelming majority of your emotional investment is directed toward men. You obsess over male approval, male status, male hierarchies, male respect, male validation, and what other men think of you. Your deepest emotional bonds, admiration, loyalty, and sense of belonging are often with other men. Women, meanwhile, are frequently reduced to sex, domestic labor, emotional labor, or status symbols.

A lot of Red Pill content reads less like, "How do I build a loving relationship with a woman?" and more like, "How do I gain the respect and envy of other men while acquiring access to women?"

Honestly, many of you seem to want romance, intimacy, companionship, vulnerability, loyalty, and emotional support from men while wanting sex from women.

And before anyone says this is impossible, we already know mixed romantic and sexual orientations exist. We see men who genuinely love their wives while also being sexually attracted to men. We see people whose romantic and sexual attractions simply do not line up in the way society expects.

Of course, because Red Pill communities are often deeply homophobic and especially biphobic, this possibility is almost never explored. Instead, these men spend years desperately seeking emotional fulfillment from male spaces while insisting that women are the problem.

Ironically, the people constantly screaming about "living according to biology" are often the least willing to honestly examine their own desires.

At least the Blue Pill isn't hypocritical on this point. When we say being gay is fine, being bi is fine, and being trans is fine, we actually mean it.
