While there are many positives to female sexual freedom, I believe that many people incorrectly equate freedom with happiness. Oftentimes, freedom leads to hedonism and self-destructive behaviors.

I think women wanted the ability and the freedom to sleep around like men without considering the ramifications of said action. There appears to be a lot of evidence that women's ability to pair bond is damaged by having sex with multiple partners. While men seem either less affected by this or unaffected at all.

While this is often used as a revenge fantasy of incel types, the truth is that there is mounting evidence that suggests higher partner count in women leads to a decrease in quality of life, unhappy marriages and the loss of the ability to effectively pair-bond.

It is not 100% understood why men aren't affected the same way women are in regards to pair bonding but the leading theory seems to be that women build up a tolerance to hormonal signals that come with "being in love" simply because their body releases the hormones whenever they have intense sex or when a men ejaculates inside her. Conversely, men seem to have smaller hormonal releases and are slower to build up tolerances to hormonal signals.

Should women be aware of the mounting evidence of the danger's of wanton female promiscuity? While I would argue that we shouldn't pressure women to act in any certain way, it would seem rational to educate young women on the dangers of losing the ability to pair-bond and then have them decide for themselves. But would society or women even accept the assertion that women can't sleep around like men and remain unaffected? What should be society's strategy to inform women that they are in fact not men and that our brains work differently?
