Lots of gay people think they're straight for a while because of how messages about sexuality are instilled in us from young childhood.

I've seen this a decent amount with gay/bi guys who have a lot of homophobia and masculinity issues. Where it's partially that they don't want to be gay, cause gay=yucky. And partially that masculinity in other men intimidates them, which makes them feel insecure which isn't exactly a turnon.

Femboys are a way to allow yourself to be attracted to me while still more or less adhering to the heteronormative script you were taught. It's ok to like penises as long as they're feminine penises.

This male needs to see a therapist ASAP. But aside from everything else he said, this is the second post in 2 days I’ve seen a male use lack of social skills as an excuse for never approaching women.

What does growing up “sheltered” mean? Because social skills can be learned so I find it funny that he writes himself off solely because of that (obviously he’s gay or confused and using that as an excuse but still). He’s also in his early 20s, takes care of himself, and naturally into sports - I’d understand this post coming from a 45 year old man, not someone who claims to be as young as he is.
