It's funny that the RP sexual strategy fails when women are aware of it. There was a recent FR of a guy in eastern Europe with the same problem. Now pick him up, and drop him in some shithole Parisian banlieue. If you suspend disbelief for a moment, this Alpha foreigner will no longer be giving cues that are understood locally. He may still possess beauty, athleticism, leadership qualities - universal Alpha qualities - but he will lack local qualities, and he will lack the 'colours' that identify him as the Alpha. The foreigner will have to adjust and earn them. You can be the king in your local watering hole but you will likely flounder in the Bilderberg Group meeting. There's Alpha on different levels too.

All this to say that the Alpha foreigner may have the advantage of exoticism, but he is no longer Alpha on foreign soil as he must adapt to the new local shorthand (and shit tests), and earn the recognition, and submission of his new circle of influence.

Yes, once a man gets married the sex probably dries up. I hear that all the time in the states as well though (don't know, not married :)). However, in Japan, infidelity is almost assumed. There are "love hotels" specifically with high fences around the parking lot and a consideration for privacy that are basically made for cheating. I've met several women there who are "married" but are living alone raising a kid. It's assumed your husband will be having sex in some way shape or form.

Also, not all salarymen are souless out of shape betas. Yes, a lot are, but i've meet some real quality guys in Japan as well. I'd say the ratio is probably the same as it is here in the states. The upper 10% of males really stick out and are easily identified. The way they dress is culturally dictated.

If you know what you are doing you will have no problem pulling girls in Japan. It's the same no matter where you are in the world. AWALT. Sure they may be gunning for a betabucks to start the family, but the young women still want to get some high value cock.

Let me start by first saying if you are referring to Tokyo as Japan, I think that's a little misleading. If you are white guy with a decent body, dress well, and overall look the part with some language skills, the world is your oyster in Japan (especially in locations outside of Tokyo). The girls might not be the 9's or 10's you see all over Tokyo, but I've met some damn near unicorns from my time living in Japan a while back. Outside Tokyo can give you AMAZING options if you speak the language enough.

The reason girls in Japan aim for BB so hard is because they get baby rabies super early. OP is right, once they have a kid, good luck getting them to look at you. That kid becomes their world.

OP, what is your experience with women in Japan? Do you ever feel ostracized at all? I'd assume spinning plates must be hard, considering the societal pressure to marry? How about the younger women, maybe around 25? (edit: kind of answered in your other replies. edit2: do you speak Japanese?).
The blatant BB and awareness of the wall is pretty obvious there and in eastern Europe, parts of SA etc. because those places are more conservative, i.e. women aren't as represented in the workplace. Obviously they need to marry, like they did in the west 60 years ago.

This is pretty general information. After 10 years you could write a much deeper analysis of why these behaviors take place, rather than just pointing it out like many Japanophile blogs already do. I do plan on writing one in the far future though. Below is a previous post of mine, some observations about Asia if anyone is interested.

I currently live in Japan (can speak Mandarin and Japanese well) and I want to point out that there are definitely girls that are almost-unicorns, given that you observe RP behaviors. However, I believe that your chances of finding one if you can only speak English are very low.
I would like to explain my point with ascertaining that there are three different kinds of women. I will use the word foreigners to mean 'western men' as it doesn't have a discriminatory tone used between us.

Type 1 - Girls who target foreigners. A high amount of them are riding the western male CC and can probably speak English well. A lot of them will frequent popular foreigner locations (like Roppongi, The HUB, Lan Kwai Fong in HK) and 'international' exchange parties and activities. There is a high demand for these girls, and the supply of foreigners trying to sleep with them is far greater. In my experience, the 80-20 rule definitely applies here.

Type 2 - Girls who refuse to date foreigners, usually do to family or societal pressures. In my opinion, type 2 girls are rare.

Type 3 - Girls who have likely only dated men from their country, and haven't really thought about dating a foreigner. They aren't against the idea, but they don't really have the opportunity, as they probably can't speak English well. They likely won't date someone they can't communicate with, so most foreigners are off the table.

A lot of these girls will live in less populated areas, but there are still a lot in the main cities (Tokyo, Hong Kong, etc) They also won't go to popular foreigner locations, so meeting one means going to locations where locals hang out, and doing activities that they like. The easiest way is to join circles of your local male friends or colleagues and go from there, and day game. Type 3 girls are where you will find the best women. In addition, type 3 girls make up 80% or so of women in Asia.

Basically, the point I want to bring home is that there are great women in Asia, but you won't date them unless you can speak the local language to at least a conversational level (at least 6-12 months of fairly intensive study, especially if you don't have experience studying languages)
But I don't want to sound discouraging, because learning a language is easier and cheaper than you might think. The rewards are amazing, and not just for dating. I'm sure there are exceptions to what I have written, but it seems to be congruent with not only my experiences, but my friends in Asia as well. I haven't spoken English with a plate/gf in around 3 years, but it's been the best 3 years in terms of women. They are more likely to be loyal, and willing to learn sexually.

I lived in Korea for 4 years, and I've been living in China for 3 1/2. All three of these countries seems the same. One extra thing I've noticed in China. The mother-in-law sometimes lives with the married couple.

Confirming their stereotypes make you comforting and unthreatening. Ditto for if you're new in town and just "passing through" for no more than a year or two

I did pretty well without much real game for most of the early years, before hitting a wall of extreme boredom with the repetitiveness and predictably of dealing with 99% of girls. Oh, and most are AWFUL in the sack, little more than a pretty life-size flesh light with a pulse

My uncle brought one to America after he was stationed in Japan with the Marines back in the 60s.

She came to America, married my uncle, had kids, gained weight, and never worked a day(as far I know), my uncle worked hard at a factory and she controlled ALL the money, he had to ask permission to buy something with the money HE made! She gave him an allowance!

Just wanted to know from the OP what he thinks about the possibilities of finding an LTR in Japan. It's interesting to note the decline in population and marriages in Japan. I've heard that the men have become almost asexual and as a result Japan's population is in decline. Quite an interesting comparison when you look at Meiji era Japan where the Shinto/Samurai culture still lived on in men. Japan had a massive population and was steadily expanding its influence in the world.
