This point is so weird. They call us incels but we are literally swearing off men who are sub-standard and choosing to accept high-value ones. We all get dates. We all get men interested in sleeping with us. At most, we are voluntary celibates 😂

FDS literally says to be very selective in who you sleep with while dating a whole bunch of guys.

I could personally call dozens of men right now and they'd love the chance to sleep with me. I could probably go on Tinder, post a low effort post with a bit of cleavage, and get hundreds of matches. FDS reinforces that you should be picky as hell and not settle.

It's LITERALLY the opposite. I'm CHOOSING not to have sex with men because there are too many options.

FDS is not about quantity, it's about the quality. And, it's not even about sex. We want nice loving guys who are attractive and put an effort in. That's so much different than crying about not being able to fuck someone.

I feel like people who don't know what FDS is think it's something like PUAs where we try to trick, manipulate and coerce men into doing what we want. They seem to forget that dating as a man vs. as a woman is fundamentally different and that to us it's more about choosing and vetting.

This is because men lack the capacity for empathy, so they can't even comprehend that women could have access to sex but refuse it. Men would fuck a hot pocket and studies have shown that the vast majority of them would say yes to a random woman approaching them on the street and asking to have sex. Men are entirely driven by sex and don't understand that anyone might operate differently. So it's inconceivable to them that women would be voluntarily celibate.

Male incels, in my mind, don’t try to improve theirselves or have any self reflection. They enable each other’s unhealthy beliefs that they just deserve sex because they’re entitled to it. I mean, the incel web is pretty dark and uses abusive language towards women, not even understanding that MAYBE there is something wrong with them that they need to change or improve to find a lady. The gals over here at FDS, if they are not actively dating, they are voluntarily celibate to work on themselves, have no issue finding men, yet it is purely preference and what they are most comfortable with (aka... a healthy boundary of caring about ones needs first). That is crazy to me how people consider women standing up against a normalized culture of men treating women with disrespect “an incel group”, “a group of crazy women”, etc. Besides, we all know there are HVM out there. We don’t hate men.

I have yet to see this sub worship female serial/spree killers. I have yet to see this sub advocate for taking basic human rights away from men or promote social/legal requirements for certain men to capitulate whenever a woman wants to have sex with him, irrespective of his consent.

A biggie with male incels- I have yet to see this sub push the idea that the "solution" to a shortage of HVM is to groom and statutorily rape boys between the ages of 9 and 15 to supposedly turn them into perfect "husbandos".

I dated six or seven guys last year. Slept with three of them. I am not bragging — they were ALL mistakes that I regret — I’m just saying FDS saved me from having more sex with future LVM. It’s not a place to lick my wounds because I can’t get sex. It is teaching me to honor myself and not hand it out freely anymore. I have been voluntarily celibate all of this year, and I’ve never felt more at peace. I have had the choice to sleep with yet more suitors this year, but they are now beneath my standards, and I will follow the handbook.

I don’t even know how many guys I ghosted, blocked, and rejected in my year of voluntary celibacy. I needed a break from men and they did not want to give me one.

Highlight of that year was going to 4 different fraternity formals so I could chill with my sisters and not going on a date with any of the guys before or after because why would I?

They literally wouldn’t keep their legs shut if a woman asked them for sex because they’re so desperate they’d jump on anything with a vagina including a goat sick with terminal cancer. So to them the only possible reason we wouldn’t be having sex is because no one wants us. The concept of saying no to dating / sex is completely foreign to them.
