I said some of these things frequently to my husband. Not even frequently but quite often during our marriage. Neither of us are stable enough to leave and I feel bad because it doesn’t help either of us. We are both Swifties and somehow I ended up listening to her song Tolerate It. I was exactly the picture of the guy she talked about in that song. I told him that. He didn’t believe me. So I do feel for him. Neither of us are in a place to do anything about it and I want to because I hate to continue staying when he should be free to pursue others who may make him happier. I’m including a link to the song on YouTube if you have any interest in responding to my post and/or listening/previewing the song. I know I’m the person you guys are talking about but damn I wish I weren’t and I wish I were truly happy in my marriage. :(

Riddle me this fellas. (Actually I know the answer). How about "I don't love you that way anymore. I am comfortable with you and it's a great life but my attraction is gone"...then later I get "hey I was thinking about these renovations to the dining room" (sends tik tok). "Hey should we talk about booking our winter vacation what about this resort?" (Sends link)

I remember her saying “I don’t love you” and “i hate you” and they didn’t hit very hard, but I left a couple days after she said “I don’t like you” for the first time.

Indeed which is why as a man you must have dignity. A man need only be told once by their partner that they want a divorce.

Best you can do is give them an expedited divorce and move on with your life, preferably finding someone that does in fact love you.

I thought we were trying to work on our marriage. I asked my then wife "What is it that you need from me? What is it that you want from me?".

Her response was "I don't want anything from you, I don't need anything from you, and I have nothing to give you".

I should have realized at that point that the marriage was officially over.
