Ozempic. And Botox. And Lazer Thermage. Was having an emotional affair with her boss. They are still dating. But I can tell you the “replay” phase of MLC didn’t last. Many start off as “high energy replayers” but lapse back into low energy wallowing. First Xmas party one year post divorce she was jumping into every photo op and trying to be the life of the party. Next year Xmas party she showed up for 5 mins and then went home. Couldn’t keep up the facade. No more smiles. She seems down and generally bitchy with me when we have to interact. Men need to seriously reevaluate all their relationships with women. Your experience is not that uncommon. It’s actually common enough that we need to acknowledge that it’s part of their nature. Young men—Listen to me— women do not and cannot love you. They may love you for what you provide them, but not you. They may love how you make them feel, but not you. Women are loyal only to their feelings, but not to you. Those feelings change like the wind. Nevermind the state and legal system is stacked against men. It’s crazy to me still get married. If in the rare cases, it’s justified it should be insured by a prenuptial. Most women under forty should be avoided like the plague. I mean that, minimize all contact and relationships and personal business with women.

What does everyone think about asking for the wedding and engagement ring back I pay probably three times more for my side than she did for hers. also my wedding band has an inscription so it's not worth crap reselling but hers I think would actually give me at least a few grand back, thoughts if it's worth trying to get in the divorce settlement? The ones who want to cheat had a foot out the door before they hooked up with any new guy. They were already done with you. It's not that they lost weight and suddenly got attention, it's that they decided that they want to move on with their life, and so the weight loss, etc. then follows.

Wow who knew all of us would be in the same boat. Funny story, during Covid. The wife and I got in amazing shape. We were trying to be as healthy as possible. Running and lifting weights. My wife was never obese, but she was curvy and I loved it.

Once she started slimming down. All the men at her work started noticing. That was my first red flag. We ending up moving to my wife’s home town and then our relationship surprisingly started to drift. She was really feeling herself. We were training for a half marathon. She stated giving me a hard time about the clothes I wore, my weight, how many vacations I took her on. It really came to a head in 2021. When all the Instagram shit about vacation now retire later, van life, open relationship bullshit. I really think these social medias were partially to blame for the way modern women act today.

I went away for a business trip and find out when I came back. My wife had been seeing an old flame. I broke into a work laptop she was signed in on and found her Google timeline and it told me every where she went while I was away.

I separated, left my house, went NC, and got a lawyer. She had introduced me to this guy several times. We drank together several times. I always felt he trying to get in my wife’s pants. I was told I was insecure, that he was just a friend, and that I was thinking there was something there when there wasn’t. Lo and behold. My gut was right every time.

Fast forward today. Once she lost her work out buddy. She couldn’t keep the weight off. I was 100% the driving force. She started the GLP-1 and yes she has lost weight. It’s doesn’t look good. She lost all her curves. She has some loose skin that I doubt will go away without surgical intervention.

I say all this to say. That there are countless stories of women leaving their husbands after losing weight and gaining some male attention. These weight loss drugs absolutely tap into some deep seated insecurity and grossly inflate the ego. Once the grass starts looking greener they will destroy their husband, their family, their kids to feed the ego of being the Belle of the Ball. Just because some guy at work told them they looked cute on a random Wednesday. So their mentality is just burn everything to the ground. Fuck it.

A decade ago, Facebook, WhatsApp, Insta & Snap led to a surge in cheating and divorces. Facebook was basically Fuckbook for Boomers & early GenXers. Insta, Snap and TikTok caught up in the cheating wars soon after. My ex did her cheating on Insta.

Now it’s GLP-1 weight loss drugs.

I haven't found any proof of cheating but I wouldn't be at all surprised. Has been taking one of these Ozempic like drugs for a couple of years. She has so many other huge red flags going on like ADHD, perimenopause, always had insane hormone issues even before the perimenopause ratcheted it up, started HRT a few months before filing. Because of all of that I never thought to question the Ozempic. I admit I've never really looked at what it did until just now. "Acts on the brain's hypothalamus...." Wow I really wouldn't have guessed it does what it does by messing with brain chemistry. She has turned into a completely different person than the one I was married to for 15 years. Mind blowing if it is a side effect of the freaking Ozempic.

The lack of loyalty in women who rapidly lose weight is so well documented that a warning about it is part of the pre-op instructions before a gastric bypass.

There is nothing surprising about this phenomena. Most women settle for the man they marry. In general, most women dated a man who was more handsome, had more money, and/or was better in bed than the man they marry.

But those guys wouldn't commit.

So a few years down the line, a woman chisels some chunkage off of their fupa and now they think they can do better than the chump she settled for.

But the same old problem arises.

She can find lots of guys who will smash her, but damn near none will marry a woman who has already proven herself disloyal & selfish.

10 years together. 5 married. She always had low self esteem with her body. Started Zepbound beginning of 2025. Lost like 80 lbs. Caught on to shady behavior, called her out on it and she immediately filed for divorce in June. No remorse. No empathy. Shortly before that she was hinting aggressively at opening up the marriage (out of nowhere she shared a fantasy of hers of her cucking me…. Gross).

Publicly celebrating “post breakup glowup” on social media. Treated me like absolute garbage the month after when she was still living here (talking to guys on phone in front of me etc).

She moved out in July and I have been no contact since. No kids. Lost my dogs. She racked up like $30k in credit card debt 4 cards all maxed out buying crap on Temu, TikTok Shop, $800 hair appointments etc. She is on all the dating apps. She moved into some dumpy 2nd floor rental. I live comfortably in my home.

It was fast and abrupt. Totally different person….. or…. Maybe it was always her behind the mask of being fat

Side note: I was always in much better shape than her so I wasn’t some fat lard that she “out grew”. Also, a month or so before it all blew up she fainted and hit her head because of this medication. It drops your blood sugar. She also burped non-stop.

I’m biased because I hate these weight loss injections, and was literally just bitching about their ads to my GF, as we’re both very into fitness.

Holy shit. The disclaimers they need about not sharing needles, the list of side effects, the risks, etc - I would not be surprised if some of these drugs lower inhibition, and just fuck with the body too much in general. This is NOT how the general population is supposed to be losing weight

Mine lost 50 or 60 lbs. We've both been to the gym consistenty for over 2 years. Just since fall she became absolutely obsessive with her calories and food, and lost a bunch of weight in a hurry. She's looking better, no doubt.. first attention she got from a felon with 3 open drug charges and she goes out cheating with him. Caught her at his apartment. I'm sure he's lost her god damned mind, cheating on me with a loser like that.

Yep, my wife of 24 years lost about 125 lb over the course of 2 years on Zepbound (5 ft. 2 and got down to 106 lb....way too damn skinny.

She was having an affair with her gym crush that lasted about 8 months before I discovered it and divorced her.

He dumped her a couple months later.
