It’s been almost two years for me. My first date was 6 months out, and it didn’t go well for various reasons. Few dates since were even worse.

I don't know, but I started using Bumble and got a few bites, started messaging. It's a morale booster for sure. Therapist says wait until the divorce is finalized (we're separated atm), but meh she cheated already, and is continuing to do so, before we're officially through so why not connect and get my mind off things while enjoying some nice conversation and/or ice cream with someone else?

When its comfortable to do so. My ground rules are don't bother me when I am visiting my kids. I am not introducing you to my kids ( casual and not long term relationship). Cleanup before your kids visit. If I manage to find someone I would consider a long term relationship its going to be a year before I even consider introducing them. Their mom most likely will try (has in the past) and get them attached asap. I respect my kids too much to put them through that.
