If somebody calls me "Lisa" I'd just assume they mistook me for someone else and keep living my life. Maybe I'd think for a second: "That was odd. Would it be my moral obligation to correct them so they don't think their acquaintance was being cold to them?" But most likely I'd just continue my ordinary life without sudden developing feelings for this guy.

Though from now on, I perhaps have a tiny consideration in the back of my head that they might be trying some weird manipulation scheme on me. 🤭

Omg yes I have! Some really annoying sales guy at my old job would always call me by the wrong name and one day I said “that’s not my name, you KNOW that’s not my name because you have to send me emails and enter my real name to do so, from now on call me by my real name or don’t talk to me outside of emails” and he got flustered and walked off lol we never spoke in person again.
