This is such an important post. I’m flabbergasted by the fact that there are people who find this to be a controversial view. I didn’t even know it was until I talked to a cousin I hadn’t seen in a few years.

Somehow this topic came up, and he started getting really defensive, saying things like, “We shouldn’t ostracize people for their biology. They can’t help their cravings.” That’s word for word what he said. I could not believe it.

He tried to act like men who are attracted to children are valid as long as they don’t act on their feelings—he was trying to act like it’s heroic not to. I told him it’s NORMAL not to hurt children, but he kept insisting it’s different, that some men “just can’t help it.”

Come to find out one of his close friends was imprisoned for CP — and, no, my cousin didn’t cut him off. He tried to defend his friend’s actions saying that “at least he didn’t hurt any children.”

I completely cut him out of my life and am sick to my stomach whenever I think of him to this day. There’s no excuse for whatsoever. Anyone who makes excuses for pedophiles needs to be catapulted from your life, ASAP.

Story time.

I don’t know all the details, but my mom's first husband was a real piece of work. To the point where when she found out she was pregnant, she literally disappeared off the face of the earth, even cutting off her family because they thought so highly of him. My sister wound up dying as a toddler, but that man never knew she existed.

Age softened my mom's stance a bit, and when I was 35, she reconnected with her sister. I was all set to meet my aunt until I learned that this b!tch had a boyfriend who had molested her own granddaughter, was in prison for it, and this b!tch was visiting him in prison!

My mom was a living saint, and that’s the only time I’ve ever been truly mad at her. Knowing she would still visit her piece of trash sister after all of this. I told my mom in no uncertain terms I would NEVER be meeting my aunt, period.

Thankfully, my aunt fell in the shower soon after, broke her hip, and died. Good riddance.

A couple years ago I blocked a longtime friend who I'd known since 7th grade(I'm 40 now for reference) after he started posting pedo-hinting shit on social media. I first noticed when he posted a pic on IG of a girl who couldn't have been older than 11 with the caption "my young crush". I looked at his facebook and he had a lot of posts with shit like "love doesn't care about age" and "underage <3" I felt sick and immediately lost all desire to associate with this person in any way. It's just beyond my realm of understanding how anyone could knowingly maintain any sort of relationship with these degenerates.

I hate the boys club thing of staying loyal to friends or family despite their evils in the name of friendship or "it was in the past". Like david dobrick staying friends with dom after repeated cases of predatory behavior. Disgusting. People normalize it as though that's just what friendship is. But it's not. When my boyfriend's former friend started dating a 19 year old (he was 28 himself) it was "consensual" but my bf and his friends still all dropped ties. They rightfully call him out as a predator and have moved on from him and even now that he's "reformed" it's too late. He showed his character. Pass.

A good friend of my (now ex) husband moved to our town for just a couple months due to a work assignment. (This was about two years ago) This guy is divorced and childless and generally we get along ok... Except he's very religious and a bit misogynistic. Fine whatever.

I have two daughters under six, and he was enamored with them. Asked them for hugs (I told them, out loud and immediately, that they could wave or hug if they wanted to but it was completely fine if they didn't do either one-same thing I do with family) or offered to carry them, would try to play with them with their toys, etc, when he came to visit.

I found this strange, but relatively harmless because I was always around. Then one day my ex and his friend got off work early. Ex messaged me to let me know he'd picked up the girls from daycare and was heading home, and that friend was coming over with ice cream for my youngest who had been sick.

Suddenly, I panicked. I wasn't there.. And I realized why I needed to be there. I didn't like his focus on my girls. It just didn't feel natural to me. And a small but annoying part of my brain kept saying that I was overreacting. But I told that small voice to shut the fuck up, and then texted my husband that I'd be coming home immediately. I told him under no circumstances was he to leave either of the children alone with friend. I told him I didn't care if friend got offended but alone time was completely off limits.

I got home shortly thereafter, the friend had already left, and my husband was confused but did what I'd asked. I couldn't fully verbalize it then (just that his interest in our girls was bizarre), but now I think what had me panicking was the possible grooming behavior. I still don't know if my instincts were right and I'm completely okay with that. I'll hurt anyone's feelings any day to keep my kids from being victims of pedos.

I am not aware of the pedo controversy, I’ve been oblivious to all the terrible news out there dealing with covid aftermath, it’s been affecting my mental health a lot along with constant eye and ear pain and intense fatigue. It’s all become too much and I just want off this planet sometimes. Reddit is an extremely toxic place. I’ve lurked on subs that truly break my heart and reinforce my repulsion towards much of the manosphere. I didn’t find Reddit until two years ago and I’m actually sorry I did. I was active in this sub when it was much smaller and I wanted to share so much of what I’ve learned about male nature but anymore it has been hurting me to even talk about it. I’ve just wanted to crawl under a rock but I know we need to protect the young women out there as best as we can. Male depravity has permeated every aspect of living and it’s been really depressing lately on top of all the other stuff we have to deal with. There are absolutely horrific subs allowed to exist here and I am seriously thinking about leaving. It’s beyond evil and toxic and seriously damaging. My opinion of males has never been lower.
