I was cyber flashed a couple years ago. I was on a crowded train and someone airdropped me a pic of his body part. I was so disgusted. It should be listed as harassment.

It looks like these companies have figured out that women (the product) are fleeing dating apps in droves and if they want to survive they’d better make sure women feel safe and enjoy using them.

Don’t get me wrong—I’m all for this proposed legislation, I just think it’s motivated by profit.

No one is particularly concerned with women’s harassment online or off until it starts to affect them personally.

Not sure if this is a new feature on tinder but I recently downloaded it again (I know why am I like this) and I had an unopened message that was inappropriate and tinder notified me before I opened it! I was actually pleasantly surprised, the guy said something about me looking good with his c*m dripping down my face, so it was really obviously inappropriate and tinder made it a one-click block and report. I know its not a lot, but its nice to have that ease. Tinder also doesnt let you send pictures I believe so that's kind of nice.

Good for them, but bubble is still trash. An entire app where women have to chase men will only lead to self entitled men thinking they don't have to do anything. How about an app where men have to pay for a date upfront just to talk to us? That would actually be empowering women, not this shit.

I think we need more laws in the form of misdemeanors punishable with fines and things like that, because the standards for due process when it comes to prison tend to be so high to the point that scrotes can get away with it 90% of the time

Meh .....Bumble supports women making the first move which has the opposite effect of what they intended.

Scrotes now think they’re hot in demand and being pursued therefore the woman must take the lead and pay for dates.

It’s just laughable they expect us to put effort in and plan the date and even pay for them so they can use us.

None of these apps are empowering for women...they’re designed so basement dwelling 5’6 porn sick scrotes can get access to thousands of single pick mes in one place, with less effort and less hassle. They’d never run into those women otherwise.

Ive been on 5 online dates in my entire life, 4 of them were duds I didn’t see again (one claimed he was 5’11 when he turned up 5’3) and the 5th one was the most nasty serial cheating scum bag I’ve ever met in my life. Far worse than any men I met naturally. Ofc he posed as a gentleman just wanting to settle down at first 🙄also claimed he hated modern dating culture / was lonely and simped hard but sure had fun cheating on me with every pick me in a 50 mile radius over the lockdowns.

I wouldn’t of even seen that scrote after date 1 if it wasn’t for the stupid lockdowns restricting everyone and our dating opportunities. That was the first time id tried an app in years. Haha ....oh how I wish I didn’t bother. God help any pick mes dealing with him. Real piece of work.

Sorry but I’m over apps like Bumble fake virtue signalling to women pretending they care about our safety or us finding genuine relationships - they just enable more nasty scrotes to cheat and abuse more women than they would normally. They’re fuelling their antics and they know it too.

I thankfully haven’t dealt with much harassment on dating apps. I can honestly say I haven’t gotten any inappropriate pics or anything. BUT I’ve dealt with insane arrogance.

I love what Whitney stands for and all but she really has no idea the type of f-boys that are on her app. Bumble has the most attractive guys but they are so so so ridiculously arrogant and rude.

The fact that us women have to message them first hasn’t been very useful for me. Cause, yes, although I’m not getting inappropriate pics, I’m not really having much luck matching with quality guys either. They’re all very good looking but ridiculously low effort, very avoidant, almost act like they’re doing you a favor by responding to you or something.

So they’ll send it and then immediately remove their message after they see that it’s been marked as read. I don’t know if Bumble has a feature to remove your own message, but many other sides (Reddit, Discord) do.
