I’m not a university student but I do see this amongst my peers (late 20s to mid 30s) unfortunately.

Men really do tend to have an over inflated sense of their own value as a partner or lover and they treat women as disposable or interchangeable. It’s really sad to see.

I hate it the most when I hear about accomplished, attractive, independent women being treated poorly by men who are frankly unworthy.

I have been reading about this lately. It annoys me because the cliff’s notes version is: Men are being narcissistic , and treating women as interchangeable objects. We should lower our standards and beg them for a relationship. 🤡
I do not want to be with anyone that does not see me as a person. That cheats , lies. Narcissism is the worst quality For a relationship.

Best bet is to just simply ignore most men. Don't give them the time of day. Problem is a lot of women are accepting not even the bare minimum ... no courting, no dates, no ring ("dating" for 5+ years), pornsick, being "roommates", doing all the mental labour and housekeep/child labour. They are doing all of this from literal CRUMBS of attention which sets the bar continuously in hell.

Men won't step up and take accountability, they cannot even make it to therapy to work on their own traumas. 95% of them are not going to change. Only hope is for women to find their standards and not accept trash.

I’ve witnessed the Golden Penis Syndrome during my university days. Men’s egos would blow up so much because they all thought they were special and rare 😂

Just because women all go to university and college, it doesn’t mean that they all are going for men in the same campuses.

The problem extends well beyond the sphere of middle-class, university educated men & women. I used to work in a salon, and observed that the hairdressers had exactly the same problems professional women report. The men they dated were typically skilled manual labourers, but they too seemed to have 'golden penis syndrome', despite spending their working hours in male-dominated environments. Porn is the common denominator: it deludes men from every walk of life into thinking they are the chooser, and women are an inexhaustible resource to be exploited and discarded.

Damn the dating advice in th end is total opposite from ours, isn't it that what makes men become entitled

And of course the comments would be fiilled with whiny men who complain how priviledged women are and how difficult men have it in society, nowadays 80-90% of men seem to be like this, it's so damn unattractive with men who just complain how much better women have it, makes you totally lose interest in dating as a woman, probably no wonder these men get so whiny as they can't get sex. I really hope I'm wrong but nowadays I see comments from these men constantly (it's like almost all men think like this because some loud incels dissapointed with their life have made it a truth, if there's talk about relationships it's like 80% comments like that, men really hate women and put their problems on us. I never see women complain how much more priviledged men are or spew their hate on men.

Fact is, men like women who like them. Also, a man is much less likely to take advantage of a woman who puts herself out there and says "Hey, I really like you, I feel really comfortable around you, so I was wondering if you'd go out on a date with me on Friday?"

Sigh… it’s bleak for the younger women out there. Until we put a stop to that hook up culture / dating apps, this will get worse. It does absolutely nothing for women apart from causing them to lose sight of their amazing value and believe that to find love they need to be ‘sweet and submissive’ and stay in their place. Not saying that we should be loud and aggressive but we should embrace who we are and celebrate our successes without seeking validation. The high value will follow.

When I was in grad school one of my male classmates had a pregnant wife. We took him out for happy hour to celebrate. He asked me to have sex in his car with him. Gross. No self-respecting woman is chasing these men. The pickmes can have them.

Men won’t “settle” down until their hairline starts to recede. Even if it’s a little above the temples. That’s when the reality of the world comes crashing. They either descend into madness, using the predatory fuckboy behaviors of their 20s well in their 30’s and 40’s on girls way too young for them, or they try to find their perfect bangmommymaid who won’t mind he is getting uglier and less economically viable. Bonus if she comes from money.
