Dude seriously, why are they always so yellow it looks like they pissed on them? And why do they expect ME to sleep on them? And why do they not even put pillowcases on half the time? Ugh.
After a breakup, I decided that shitty bedding is absolutely a deal breaker in a man. Not sure why I didn't recognize the correlation between shitty bedding and shit value men before that.
I have kept my own clean fluffy pillows with satin silk pillowcases in my car for almost a decade because even when I decide to crash at a platonic male friend's place after a night out, I cannot deal with their bedding options.

Even the ones with 'clean' beds never use gorgeous smelling or luxury detergent. So yeah, the sheets are technically washed and clean, but you never get that sense of indulgence when slipping into freshly changed sheets. There's always something so starchily... functional about them.
