Women are perceived to be weaker than men. To add, even though they had some advantages in the past, they were still not allowed to own property (in some places typically the Muslim states while the West has seen more female monarchs and also in ancient Egypt), not allowed education (with some exceptions of being homeschooled), etc. Crime rates are directly proportional to women's safety in civilizations yet countries are ranked as best to worst in terms of women's safety rather than crime rates. There is no denying women are more likely to be victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. Also, laws are made so that women are encouraged to report harassment crimes and they feel a safe space while reporting such.

This brings us to our question. Do men require more support than women? Women are given support in the sense that they cannot look after themselves, are also perceived to be weak, and are less likely to report or complain. Although this tells the opposite, that women complain more than men.

A survey showing women worked less hours than men still complained more.https://www.cnbc.com/2015/06/29/women-feel-more-burned-out-at-work-survey.html

Also, men tend to exhibit more stoicism than women,

As pointed out by the women, men only complain about their struggles when women do (most of the women here have experienced this) otherwise they don't give a shit. Would that be due to stoicism? Also if a class is unlikely to complain about being uncomfortable, shouldn't they be getting more support? Isn't the premise that women should get more support as they are unable to report harassment applicable in this case too?
