One of my ex-girlfriends asked me this, and I thought it was such a clever and unique question. It really made me reflect on how everyone experiences love differently. So I ask you the same... how do you experience love?

What do I mean by this? What does the process of love feel like? Not love itself. In my case, I explained it to her like this. Falling in love feels like a video game. Everyone is familiar with the concept of leveling up in a video game. That's how love is for me. When I meet someone new, our relationship starts at level 0. Every bad interaction subtracts points, and every good interaction adds points. As we become closer, the meter gradually fills, and my affection grows.

That's the general overview, but it's not an exact science. It's mostly based on feels. There are other elements like leveling up and "experience debuffs" or red flags. Where, if a woman displays a 🚩all "love points," stop accumulating until she demonstrates sufficient green flags to overcome the debuff. If my "love meter" doesn't progress to a certain point, I dont feel love, maybe just affection for her. The level also determines where we stand: friends, fuck buddies, gf/bf, etc.
