Way way back in the day I brought a girl to a party and she bounced right off. I was feeling bad but the host was making boilermakers. I never had one, so I tried (they sneak up on you quick) anyways after 4 i was so far gone I had this idea that I should just walk down sorority row and ask ANY girl I saw out. So off I went, approaching literally any girl that happened to be outside or cross my path.

Eventually my bros realized I was gone and went looking for me, which was good cause I don’t remember much after a while, but it sounds like I asked out dozens of girls that night.

Well the next morning, as I was nursing a brutal hangover, I reached into my jacket pocket and in it was a napkin with a blurry name and phone number written on it. Turns out even in my completely bombed out state, I still managed to get one girl to go “ok call me,”.

After that I stopped worrying about the rejections. At some point someone’s gonna say yes as long as you stick with it.

Lol it has nothing to do with guys on PPD. It has exclusively to do with identity. Women are here collectively trying to validate themselves by the shaming of men. It's as simple as that.

Modern women can't introspect. So it's easier for them to change the narrative than to change how they see themselves.

That's why a man who didn't pay is fake man. Modern women never confronts her discomfort.

It's also why many of you are here everyday complaining about the guys dehumanising high n count women. If there's 5 comments per thread of anything like that is too much. But most women who complain about that are complaining about how they feel or how they feel they are perceived. It's not reality it's anxiety filling the holes.

There's nothing wrong with promiscuity, the universe doesn't punish anyone for it.

The problem is that with this model women need the world to validate their narrative so they can feel good.

nowhere did i say anything about lying. if its a fact, you are self sabotaging by finding excuses to not get experience. unless you just physically cannot bring yourself to be with a high n woman, like you need to know its < 3 before you have sex, just to feel any attraction, then this doesnt apply to you. but if youre trying to justify not dating high n women with science or thinking it is associated with whatever outcomes, youre just self sabotaging.

if some possibly higher n woman you like, who likes you, is interested in some monogamous arrangement (hardly much of a commitment, not marriage or anything) and you try to convince yourself not to go forward with it because you think high n may be slightly more associated with cheating or something like that, and bail on the whole thing for that reason, how is that not self sabotage if experience is seen as good by women? its just a dumb red flag to have. when someone has nonsensical red flags, that just strikes me as self sabotage.

I get it, it just doesn't work since their not on the same level at all.

I'm talking about how misguided it is to use statistical trends to make conclusions about people.

I would not say it's missguided, it obviously need a little bit of individual examination (and I do believe everyone does that intuitively) but it's still a good predictor.

Avoiding men with a history of violence sounds like a good way to avoid violence, and avoiding women who have sexual experience sounds like a good way to increase your chances of ending up in a dead bedroom.

You got it wrong, it's not about avoiding women with sexual experience, I wouldn't want a 30 years old virgin. It's about avoiding women who makes questionable choices. Most of the time, I wouldn't pick a woman who swiths partners every 3 months for a long term relationship. If she had sex 3 times a day during a few long term relationship, that's totaly fine.

But even then, this isn't what we are talking about, we are talking about the validity of using statistical trends to make judgements about people. If your argument is "should we take her past into account" that's a different discussion.

I get your point but both are kind of linked. Statiscal analysis of behavioral data are usefull, they are not magic but a lot of business ( marketing, insurance, finance,...) are using them for a reason.

You are almost there. The company can't tell the exact actual risk of accident, no one can. They use a large number of statistical data to determine were an individual belong into the lader, from the less likely to be a financial burden to the more likely.

It's not different from what men do when they use statistics to try to determine the higher risk of divorce of an individual by seeing where she belong on the lader, from less likely to end up the relationship to more likely to do so.

I think even average women can have basically as much sex with the most attractive members of the opposite sex as they like as long as they don't ask for commitment in return. I think those women that take advantage of this are more likely to experience fantastic sex compared to those women that don't do it. In the first place, I think the range of sexual experience that's possible for women is much larger than for men, so it's pretty likely that a woman with a low n-count has a few sexual encounters and walks away with an impression like "That's it? That's sex? I don't see why everyone makes such a big deal about it..." Whereas a woman who is fully taking advantage of her golden ticket is very likely to have her mind blown by someone capping out the attractiveness scale.

Eventually she'll start to want commitment and now she runs into trouble because the King of Sex wants to keep her on his rotation instead of settle down with her. He's probably not planning to settle down until age 55 or so and she doesn't want to wait that long. She lowers her standards to find a guy that'll commit to her and the first thing she sacrifices is attractiveness because less attractive guys are more desperate and therefore more likely to commit. The guy is still a little attractive to her (otherwise she wouldn't be able to stand him touching her), but nothing like the guys she had before him. That's okay, though, because what she loses in looks she gains in all the commitment and relationship stuff she wants. She's willing to accept taking a hit to her sex life if it means an improvement in all other regards for a full, long-term relationship.

Here's the problem though: few guys would want to fill that role if they knew about her past. She's trying to find a guy who cares about her, will invest in and provide for her, and who is in it for her long-term because her instincts are driving her to avoid the outcome where she ends up pregnant and abandoned because her guy cares about some other girl more. But the guy's instincts don't work like that. His instincts are prioritizing trying to find the girl who wants to actually be made pregnant by him. And above all, the girl that's not going to try to trick him into raising a kid with some hotter guy's genes. So he wants to find, above all else, the woman who wants to sleep with him more than any other man. Once he finds out that she's had better than him in her past and has compromised on sexual attraction to find the relationship she wants, he will be out of there. He doesn't want to be placed in the role of her relationship 1st choice but her sex 2nd choice (or 3rd, or 17th, or whatever). His instincts are driving him to seek out a girl that maybe he likes less than golden ticket girl but she genuinely wants to sleep with him more than any other guy.

Like half the population (and a disproportionately large amount of guys that are popular with women) are extroverts. Going out, meeting new people, and partying is fun and energizing to them, not tiring. On the flip side, settling into a routine of living the same week and having the same sex over and over again on autopilot is depression-inducing. Some seek novelty and presence in the moment over thoughtless autopilot routine. Some seek challenge and growth over minimizing money and effort spent to make life as easy and frictionless as possible.

That said, I do think most guys take breaks from dating. Either just to rest or to focus on something else for a while. But eventually the feeling of "I'm just stagnating while living in my comfort zone" plus the hunger for challenge and new experience drives them out of it.

You're not getting it. I think she DOES like him. She genuinely loves his above all other men. They might be best friends. He's probably the man that cares about her the most, and vice versa. They're most likely very emotionally connected. He's the man she wants to spend every day with and raise a child together with. These are the reasons she's choosing him as a relationship partner.

But what I'm saying is he's probably not the best sex she's ever had. She's knowingly compromising to a certain extent on sex because, in her mind, he's "the total package". With everything factored in, he's way over the top of all other men. So it feels like a worthwhile tradeoff from her point of view.

But if she told him exactly that, he wouldn't be happy about it. And unless she's totally clueless about men, she knows it. So she hides it from him.

Well, if what you're saying is true and you're one of the rare ones like that guy, then respect.

I could switch girls every weekend if I wanted to but (been there done that) but frankly I'd rather play Baldur gates 3 or have a meaningful date with one of my partners.

Yeah, I'm over here in my monogamous relationship being lazy and playing Shadows of Doubt myself. It's good in a way. But, this isn't ideal for me. I'd rather be like that guy (and apparently you).

I got a text a month ago from a girl from my past that said she wanted to travel to meet me again and was saving up money to do it. Then I got a call last week from another girl from my past who told me "Well, if you have a girlfriend now then I don't want to talk to you" (so she definitely wanted to hook up again.) But my girlfriend was having none of it. She wanted to shut all that down immediately.

I like my girlfriend better than the other two, so it doesn't make sense to implode my relationship for them, but it still sucks. I hate having to put up with only one girl while other guys gets to have variety.

Every one of the girls I mentioned above have tried to seek a monogamous relationship from me in the past. I can't even get hookups without doing an elaborate relationship avoidance negotiation. I'm certain from her general vibe and history that the woman that called me last week regularly sleeps with guys on the first date, but she made me wait until date 5 because she thought making me wait for sex would make me want a relationship with her more. Almost every woman does that "make him wait for sex" thing to me.

I've had enough dating experience to know where I stand. Women see me as a "relationship guy". A woman even told me this directly once, thinking she was paying me a compliment. In other words, unless commitment and exclusivity are attached (or at least are on the table as possibilities in the future), I'm not worth hooking up with. With only one exception, all of my attempts at extra-relationship relationships have been met with failure.

So while I appreciate the invitation and would love to try ENM, I think it's out of my reach.

For me, it's not about experience as in skill, but as in frame of reference.

I had a feeling of wanting to explore further before I knew about her experiences, and that only grew stronger after I found out.

At this point, I am quite understanding of that need to explore (which is stronger in some than in others).

To give an analogy; It's like I was relatively happy living in some small town, but when I heard a friend tell about their experiences all over the world I felt like I was missing out and also wanted to explore that. In the end, I might very well conclude that my small town is best and come back, just like him. But the problem lies in the fact that for me this is still a question mark. There might very well be something out there that suits me better...

And at first I was ok dismissing that feeling but after finding out she did all that exploration I'm no longer satisfied with the current set-up.

I don't even see how that would be important biologically, all you wired for is to procreate, so all you need to know is that a woman isn't pregnant and available, that's it. You're not wired to procreate but only with virgins.

A woman we have sex with may have already been impregnated by another man but not yet showing, or may be impregnated by another man soon after we have sex with her, both of which are more likely with a promiscuous woman. This means that, if we invest resouces into the child she births in roughly 9 months, we're more likely to be investing into a kid that isn't our own with a promiscuous woman, which is a big reproductive opportunity cost.

You people need to learn that just because you've pinpointed reasonings that apply to some guys, that doesn't mean they extend universally to all guys.

I will never have status and I don't care how women feel about sex as long as they still have it. I still hate the idea of dating high-n women since I trust statistics that they're higher breakup risks (and being forced back into the dating scene is terrible for men) and I also don't like how they hooked up with other guys but want me to commit first (would actually seethe eternally over this, in fact, poisoning the relationship). Also I'd feel great pressure to cheat if I felt I didn't get to have as much life experience as my partner did. And I'd be paranoid about her past partners impeding me in some way. Petty sure but those are my reasons and they're different from the ones you listed.

Also some guys just find it icky (whether they're hypocrites or not; some women find shy guys icky despite taking zero initiative in dating themselves, etc.)

By which I am not trying to dismiss those feelings, because I actually think they are valid. I think that the invitation, or challenge is to become a man who is not afraid of the dating market because he knows he can get the women he want. To become a man that does not feel inadquate because of a lack of experience because you have that experience. To become a man that is attractive enough to the point where you don't mind when chicks give sex away freely to other guys because they give it to you for free as well.

It's not a feel good truth as it's a tough challenge, but this is the way reality is, and you only fail and stay sour if you give up and never rise to the challenge.

That doesn’t make sense because in red pill theory women always prefer commitment over casual, so why would a woman want to “bypass” commitment? And the flip side is of course the guy would want to “bypass” commitment by getting easy sex, because men allegedly prefer casual to commitment. So they’re not parallel.
