A common complaint I hear in the manosphere and tradcon leaning communities is that women waste their youth on short-lived relationships instead of locking down a good guy. These women grow older and supposedly hit the wall, and can only secure commitment from guys they aren't attracted to. As a solution to this issue, these communities tell women to marry young while they can attract quality men.

I personally don't think that this situation is that common, but let's ignore this for a moment and get to the point that I'm trying to make. If a 20-something woman (or a man) doesn't have an ltr, it's because she doesn't want to or because she can't. In the first case, she likes her single life more than she would like a relationship with an attractive man. In the second case, she can't attract a man whose commitment makes her life less miserable than being single.

A fact that gets overlooked by the "lock someone down while you're young" crew is that you can pressure people into marriage, but you you can't pressure them into loving someone they aren't attracted to. If any of the two women described above were to listen to this advice, they'd be just settling, and the men who they'd be settling with would end up in a dead bedroom.

The best advice that you can give a woman is to not marry for the sake of marriage.
