(Before I start, no not all women, just most of them. Most women = more than 50% of the general female population. Same with men.) Gentlemen, have you ever been in situations where your girl/wife argues with you and you feel as though whatever they just said makes no logical sense or doesn't match up with her actions. Like when she says "I'm fine" when she is clearly pissed, or whenever she says she don't want food when you offer but then picks off you plate when you have your own food (a personal example). There is a huge difference in the way men and women use language.

Of course this comes from my own experience, but I've had plenty of experience with women and this is what I think. When women use words, women don't care too much about what that word actually means. To them, the tone of the word matters more. When dudes feel some type of way, we search for the proper word that describes how we feel. For example, if I feel extra mad, I won't say that I'm mad. I'll say that I'm livid, pissed, or furious. I'll find a word that matches the level of emotion that I feel. Like picking a liquor that caters to your tastes at the time.

When women feel some type of way, they tend to take whichever word is most convenient (not necessarily the most correct) and inject how they feel into that word (tone). Going back to the "I'm fine" example. She takes her anger, puts it in a syringe, ties the word "fine" to a chair, and injects her angry tone into the word. Instead of taking the time to pick a liquor or wine that suites their exact taste at the time, they will just mix drinks they already own until they get a taste they personally find acceptable (not even good, just passable sometimes). If somebody else comes along and tries their science experiment and finds it to taste awful, they are the problem. This is why words like insecure, toxic, abusive, and rape lose it's punch when men hear it from women because men hear women use those words incorrectly so often. The analogies could have been better but I didn't have time to think of better ones.

It isn't about men and women being dumb, we just communicate differently and assume the opposite sex communicates the same. I doubt my mind will change but I'm interested in hearing what people think about this.
