Many people celebrate and say that we already have many people, so it is good people are not having kids, for the environment or because "we have so many people" blah bla, but the problem is not the population number, but the intergenerational population sustainability. We pay taxes for older people, but as fewer yonger people are born, there is no way younger people can pay for them all and for their own children. The problem we have could be 100 people or 7 billion people...

The problem real is an aging population that will be kept alive by a shrinking resentful younger population paying taxes for them. Old people will have all political power, using it to squeeze the younger taxpayers even more, making the problem worse by making it harder for younger people to have kids. Many of those old people will have no reason to respect younger people as they will have no kids on their own... the world may as well burn when they die off.

IDK why population is collapsing everywhere, not just in the West, not just in walkable or unwalkable cities, not just in developed countries... everywhere people are having less kids. The phenomenon is global. But this post is not about the problem or its cause, but the final solution.

The point is that we either go extinct or take a radical solution.

The solution I propose

Leave old childless people at their own, don't feed retirement with younger money, let them work to the end for themselves. Basically a state for themselves, where they vote, produce and get paid by each other to the end. Not give them any social benefits that may cost and stress younger people more. This seems cruel, but it is the only way that younger people will not be enslaved and younger generations will be able to be born.

Now, I guess some younger people will adopt these old millennials and zoomers, voluntarily, but there is no way the state can pay for them all. I guess most younger people will give some money to their parents, of course.

Now, I will probably also die childless too, and I don't like it either, but it is the only solution and I accept my fate if that is the case. The problem will be fixed in ONE generation.
