Alot have to deal with the economic background one is born into and what is socially considered the norm.

The single mothers that I personally know had mothers who raised them alone.

Even the average guy makes $50k-$65k a year low effort.

There was a question that was asked in a college class I took. The teacher gave each of us a slip asking what we think an average annual salary is. The teacher then revealed all the answers to us. The lowest was $32K and the highest was $140K.

Idk where you live but some of my struggling friends would love to make 50K a year in my area.

I’m confused as to why this is a question from a red pill man. I thought in TRP worldview that it was clear to everyone why single mothers are more undesirable, and most men are icked by single moms.

But anyway, I’m not red pill and I wouldn’t want to date a single father or single mother with young children if I was gender swapped. There are so many complex issues surrounding dating people with young kids which don’t seem appealing.

I’m not even talking about the issues typically brought up here like emasculation, I am thinking about practical things like how the child will relate to you? How will you deal if you break up and have to lose the child essentially that you bonded with? What if the other parent you aren’t dating is uncooperative with you or combative with you about how you parent their children? Not all divorces are nice ones, after all, and that can add stress. How would I deal with the person putting their child as a much higher priority than myself?

There are unfortunately, a lot of downsides to dating single parents, so if someone finds themselves a single parent and they want to date, then they’ll have more issues than a regular single person who is childless.

One of the most dangerous things a single mom can do for her kids is marry the first dude who comes along for financial support. Sure, there are decent guys out there who would genuinely love her and her kids, but there are also those who go after single moms with the intention of SA’ing the children. Or who want the mom but not the kids and end up being abusive to the kids.

This question requires me to know why they got a divorce in the first place. Maybe they were abused, maybe the man left them. Maybe they thought they could monkey branch but nobody wanted to deal with their shit. I can’t answer this, there are endless possibilities.

However I do think people get divorced for largely selfish reasons and sometimes it backfires and they regret it. Why are you worried about it?

They don’t have time to go out and form relationships, and are often fleeing from abusive relationships. They’ve got to be at work or with the kids. No time for dates/social time.
The fathers often will manipulate them to begin with to make them think he’s a descent guy, then fuck off after they’ve had kids together. Often the guy is violent so she had to leave him.

Men will work cash in hand jobs and find other ways of hiding income to avoid paying child support.

A lot of single mothers try to date, but a) it's not a given that it'll work out and tolerate a guy just for money is just another form of prostitution and b) cohabitating with a new man when you have small kids or even teenagers living at home isn't safe for the kids. Stepfathers have one of the worst rates for molestation if I remember correctly, so...yeah, I can 100% understand why some of these women choose to work 4 jobs over introducing a new guy to the family.

Having said that not all single mothers struggle financially. I'm from a single mother household - and we didn't really have any financial problems when I was growing up. My mother was way too busy to date - she was raising me, she was working, and helping out out huge extended family. No guy could compete with these priorities.

Because it's not about the money. They'd rather accept a man they WANT in their lives, opposed to accepting one they NEED to rely on.

You have to realize that a lot of single mothers endured trauma that was solely brought upon by the father of her kids. Many are abusive verbally, physically and/or emotionally, and it puts a sour taste in the mothers mouths and shows them what men are capable of doing. So them living solo is a way to protect themselves and their children, AND shows they'd rather do it all alone, over relying on a man.

And the fact that men collectively treat single mothers like shit, a lot of men who do come thru are just looking for a pump n dump, or to be taken care of in some way by a single mother, or they want to sexually assault the kids.

I've seen it all because my mother, and my grandmother were both single mothers.

I'm a happily married mother to the father of my children, but God forbid something happened to my husband I wouldn't want to remarry and I'd remain single despite the financial struggle for several reasons listed below, and I completely understand women who do and think they are better off

I would not be able to move on from my husband, he is my happy ending so to speak and I know I'd never really be able to love or pairbond with anybody in the same way, so it wouldn't be fair to do that to somebody.
Children of single mothers experience more CSA BECAUSE of mothers dating around. Of course not all step father's are intending to do harm but there are malicious people out there who date single mothers for access to the kids

Therefore, I actually think the better, safer option is to remain single in that scenario and to have children find a father figure to look up to elsewhere (i.e their uncles, grandfathers, local pastor etc)

How would someone who isn't a single mom know what they think? Being a single mom isn't something I would have any interest in, unless I was some wealthy career woman that made a baby with donor sperm and I had so much money that I had live in nannies, housekeeper, and a chef, then no way.

I only had a child when I was in a relationship with a man I knew would stick around. Sure our relationship could have failed but he would have always been an equal parent. If something happened to him though like he died, then I guess I'd be a single mom because I wouldn't make my kid deal with another man or his brats if he had any, but I definitely wouldn't be struggling. I would not only have enough money from him but from our families till I could be ok on my own. My parents would take care of me if I needed it even if I didn't have a kid. I've always had a full support system and extra. When I wrecked my car a couple years back and my husband was going to give me his and buy himself a new one, my parents just gave me a blank check and told me to go pick a new car. So they definitely would make sure me and my kid would be ok if we lost my husband. I wouldn't struggle and I wouldn't need a relationship.
