Okay so I'm in monk mode right now, but even if I wasn't, I can't escape orbiters.

I habitually end up with men who are orbiters. We go on dates for months, it feels like we are getting closer, I ask for a relationship around the 3 month mark (sometimes the 6 month mark, depending), and then they won't commit (which shocks me every time), so I walk away.

This doesn't stop men from coming back in my life. These men obsessively view all my snapchats, "like" all my social media photos, and still continue to text me despite me ignoring them. If I block them, then half the time I run into them in person (since we usually meet through mutual interests) then they still try to talk to me. I can't escape, so my best plan has been to ignore them, which still enrages me.

It enrages me, especially because there's SO many of them that even continue to contact me years & years later. If you don't want a relationship, please leave me alone. I have blocked some of them, but every time I block them on one social media, they get more intense/obsessive on another social media or some other form of communication like text or even in person. It drives me crazy.

How do I avoid men who turn into orbiters?

I would like to completely avoid men who are orbiters, but I never know they're going to be orbiters since it feels like we are building a real relationship until I have to cut them off from their lack of commitment months down the line.

Is there a way to avoid this, or is this just how it is?

Does anyone else have dozens and dozens of orbiters? The kind who DON'T want a relationship but orbit back into your life to waste time trying to hook up or whatever their goal is?
