The Super Bowl is an American holiday. No, you don't get off work, and not everyone watches it, but everyone knows about it and most people watch it for some reason or another. Men get to watch the sports they love. Women, since Feminism's rise, have been conned into staying by feeding them entertaining advertisements.

This year, instead of funny, interesting ads, there has been a massive push, playing on taking care of your family, feeling for kids, etc.

If you hadn't seen this Always ad, played during the Super Bowl, give it watch.

If you weren't aware, it's the best Super Bowl ad this year. It redefines what throwing like a girl means.

Of course, this is all without regard for why we talk about 'throwing like a girl.' This has actually been studied for a long time, by softball coaches looking for ways to improve the competitiveness of their teams, improving the inferior throwing motion that females default to. Popular Science tackled this back in 2012:

Studies suggest that girls often don't throw as well as boys. (Boys v. girls is a little diminutive, but it's an important distinction; we'll get to that.) In fact, the "throwing gap," as it's called, is one of the biggest differences between the genders. It's not just the largest gap in physical activities--although it's the largest gap in that field--it's possibly the most salient gap. Period.

Before puberty, the physical differences between boys and girls (see?) aren't enough to account for the throwing gap; structurally, their bodies should produce the same distance and speed in a throw. Nonetheless, girls are more likely to, for example, throw in a dart-tossing motion or step forward with the incorrect foot, which means a weaker throw.

To account for the effects of nurturing, Thomas studied aboriginal children in Australia, who throw the same amount regardless of gender. The girls threw tennis balls at about eight-tenths the velocity of their male counterparts. In the U.S. that's only slightly more pronounced, as The Washington Post points out, with girls throwing about 51 to 78 percent of the velocity. That suggests there's some kind of explanation in addition to nurture.

Of course, we can't expect people to actually fact check this. They know women and men can do the same things. Women can throw like a girl and it's the same. The reason Major League Baseball has no female pitchers is sexism. The reason there's no female players on the Patriots or Seahawks is sexism. It has nothing to do with playing ability.
