#2 Is a big one for me.. Sometimes girls will cooperate with you by showing up and following your lead BUT will invest zero in the interaction.. For example:

you ask her out and where she wants to go... "I don't care"
Her responses to your texts carry the with the warmth of a business email.
She never adds anything personal to her texts
Never says anything about what she feels about you..

Women date for a number of reasons. The woman I'm referring to was probably wanting male attention and dealing with me till she found something better or was just bored. It confused me because she kept showing up, would text me back, we even had sex, but it was like she wasn't there.

If a girl shows no interest or disrespects you, you MUST walk. Don't get pissed or react. Just seek elsewhere. This isn't just about your pride. It makes sense from a probability standpoint...

Option #1 - If you keep chasing, the odds you'll change her mind is practically zero. She's likely disinterested because you failed to show any high-value traits. By chasing and being her doormat, she sees you as even lower value.

Option #2 - If you drop her, there's a chance she sees that as a high-value trait. She might think "he must be a man of value with options".

Granted, the odds for a good outcome with option #2 is still low but it's higher than option #1. It's all about playing the odds.

It's not that straight many women play hard to get sometimes. Many of emm have even lost the ability to keep a good man. Literally I have seen women starting conversations with so weird topics.

I haven’t been single for a while now, but on the dating apps I remember when this would happen from time to time and I’m proud of myself for how I dealt with it. My approach to talking with my matches went by this approach : 1. Greeting/Compliment 2. Converse in some friendly banter long enough to feel she should be comfortable for the next step to 3. Make plans for a date. In my opinion and experience, I felt step #2 should be a mutual exchange and should never take too long (15-30 mins in most cases, rarely 60mins or longer) to reach the next step. It should basically be a test (for myself and my match) to see that this person isn’t crazy, has a sense of humor, and it would be interesting to meet them in a public place for a date. And these two rules that op made are pretty good yardstick to determine if it’s one sided. If I felt the exchange was me doing all the work, I would tell the girl something like “Well (girl’s name) it was nice meeting you. I usually don’t spend this much of my time talking with someone without setting a time for a date, and at this point I think it’s clear we don’t have chemistry, so I’m going to respectfully go my separate way. I genuinely hope you find what you’re looking for and I wish you the best.” This often would suddenly make the girl interested which was amusing but also not that surprising. By that point I genuinely lost interest because I meant what I said. It’s a huge turn off when I feel like I’m getting strung along or being treated as fallback plan. And it makes me believe that person is likely attention hungry and/or just wants to be pursued, is not interested in me, and immature. These traits never worked on me especially for someone who is in their 30s and knows very well that reciprocating your efforts to someone showing these traits is only a show of desperation, and I am not that person. Move to the next match and never look back.

This really seems like a matter of having a little common sense, but I suppose it doesn’t hurt to be said.

If a girl’s into you, you’re generally going to know. If she’s cold or disengaged during the date, duh.

I wouldn’t say anything, just withdraw your attention and see if she reaches out. If not, there’s your answer.

Some good pointers here. It's all about abundance mindset. If you come across as a guy with little to no options, then don't be surprised if she will treats you as such.

I think you really have to call a girl's bluff and be prepared to walk away if she is disrespecting your dignity and stringing you along. No matter how much you're into her. Hurts at first but I guarantee it's a lot less heartache than spending time with someone who has the personality of a plank of wood. Or having unsatisfying sex and feeling like you've fucked a startfish.

Be worth liking as well. Actually plan dates, meaning time and place already set. I know I’ll be a “dead lead” if the guy is taking too long to set up a date and just wants to text for days on end.

Really useful PSA. I learnt this the long way. Just remember there are women who are going to keep you in their orbit for self esteem or flake. Give these folks two, maybe three chances, to come around, then cut them off and move on.

You want to invest in healthy respectful relationships not a parasitic ones.

It's kinda a tough decision sometimes right? Because some girls like to be pursued; particularly the more decent/shy ones. So it's a judgment call you have to make sometimes. I'd say if it's kinda a promiscuous/party girl this applies, but if she's the shy type you might want to loosen things up a bit.

My 2 cents? A lot of people go for The-Second-Invite Mindset (it’s ok if she said no because you can invite her one more time for a second try)… well, I know modern routines keep us busies and all this things. But I also know communication and interest flow both ways. Ask yourself: is she bringing new subjects to the table or is she just answering your questions? Develop a feeling to scan when someone isn’t into you.

A lot of people on Reddit said a message can sink into a lot of other ones today. But c’mon, if she’s really into you, she’ll make time or respond you in a proper inviting way.

It's really about consistent reciprocation. Is she consistently initiating and reciprocating dates, conversations, sex. I think the basis of any adult interaction is transactional, at least in the beginning. You put in a little bit of effort and see if you get something worthwhile in return. If she responds one-word or buisness-like to you, walk away. If you ask her out and she can't make it but doesn't give a specific time to reschedule, walk away. Don't put effort into a black hole. Don't let her lead you on.

Women are indirect. Anything but an enthusiastic yes is a no. No response is a response. A lot of it stems from need for validation and fear of being injured/embarassed (whether that's justified or not).

There's this chick who used to do all above. she tells me that she doesn't see me that way even though she used to do above(including, sexting, flirting, romance talks). This kept happening for 1.5 years (due to pandemic we couldn't meet, we met thrice in a year). And also we went on a hiking trip (where we really got close, she would be more affectionate). But after 2-3 weeks she said she doesn't feel that way etc, denied everything that we did before as a joke. I don't know what to do?
