Rant: I don't see the point of doing night game

Night game is fun when you want to start meeting alot of women. But like you said you can get into some meaningless situations as well (ONS that leads nowhere, crazy people men and women alike, bad habits such as lack of sleep, drinking alot of alchohol and not prioritizing other things, etc. ) I think that if you’re in it to learn social skills and possibly hook up with someone it may work out. Otherwise, you're better off just networking during daytime events.

I feel you man! The lifestyle definitely is unhealthy and takes a mental toll on you. Mostly it leads to just meaningless sex with chicks who won’t even remember shit.

Its fun tho if you’re with a wing who likes to give challenges and you keep leveling up, but more or less same meaningless shit.

The lifestyle itself tells a lot about people. Someone whos drunk 4 nights a week and is just clubbing and twerking, I’m noone to judge but their way of perceiving life definitely is too low.

I don’t wanna be with someone like that. I’d love to have good conversations, humour, talk philosophy and space, and grow. You get the vibe I guess. For that day game/social circle and those things seem better.

You can still use game and speed up those things and have an upper hand almost at all points of interaction and relationships.

Going to clubs only to pick up women, yeah I would agree.

Going to clubs/bars/venues because you want to be there outside of the women (friend's birthday party, a concert, dj, celebration with friends, etc) then you'll be able to enjoy the evening and the "night game" will just be an organic branch-off from the authentic reason you went to the venue to begin with.

Clubs bleed you dry and rarely give you value comparable to the time and the money you spend. Lounges are cool every once in a while. Bars are fine if there's some games on. Clubs are for your 20s. Once you hit 30s, you gotta leave that shit alone.

The older you get, day game becomes more preferable. You're not going out with the mindset of anticipating to talk to someone, because you're going to places that you need to be at or doing things you actually like doing. It's much more organic. Plus, the quality of woman you randomly meet goes up.

If you *actively* practice pick up (i.e approaching girls you've never met), night game is a BLESSING. But if you casually go out 1 or 2 nights with your buddies talk to 2 or 3 girls and go home, night game does indeed suck. Most "regular guys" meet women through their social circles or the occasional online dating lay.

What pick-up artists do well is that they make it into a LIFESTYLE so it's enjoyable. The OG pick up artists actually went out SOBER, didn't drink or do drugs, and actually got sleep where needed as they were going out so often that they needed to conserve their energy. Otherwise, they would be broke, unhealthy and needy.

All those "problems" you mentioned, actually disappear if you actually "practice". I mean when you get 10 numbers in a night, made new friends, have a rotation of women you're sleeping with, do you really care that some random girl told you to F off? In fact, you become unfazed by rejections the more you go out. But make no mistake, approaching is a SKILL.

hey man I'm 40 but can say clubs can seem like a big waste of time you have to find lounges or something that is more for "older" people like breweries, paint nights, coffee places, etc... If you want younger girls you will have to go where they go! I still think going to a club is a big waste of time.. maybe search "speak easy" or "low key" in your area maybe a bar ?.. I end up taking a child studies course at local college and invite everyone out i had 4 new girlfriends but just to much dam drama keeping them all. now I'm only dating 1 right now but might go back to 2

If he’d just relax and just be himself at the clubs and bars, that anxiety would probably go away and he’d be having fun doing whatever it is his natural self does to have fun. It sounds like you equate nightgame with nightclubs. Nightgame is literally any venue you can find as part of nightlife.
There are a plethora of other types of venues besides nightclubs. You need to figure out what kind of venue you actually enjoy being in. Talking to women because you enjoy what's going on around you instead of inspite of it will do wonders for your success. For example, you like Spanish wine, tapas, and Flamenco music. You traveled to Madrid once in college. You go to a Spanish wine bar in your city with all of these things. You now have 4 topics to talk about with women there. Or you like art. Go to a cocktail bar that features local artists and hang out at an art opening and bond with girls over that. Or maybe you love playing air hockey? Go to a bar with air hockey and talk to girls at the same time while doing something you are good at.
This brings me to my next point. I disagree with other folks responding to you who equate nightclubs with providing ultimate truth. It provides the unfiltered truth of how you are perceived without talking (it's too loud), with bad lighting, by people who are probably inebriated enough that they are primarily making instinctual based decisions based on their primal lizard brains. It's too loud to have a conversation that plays to your strengths as an older guy which is going to be more based on intellect, experience, storytelling, and conversational confidence in how you banter and flirt.
So why nightgame? Because of intention. Whether it's a house party, or a bar, or an art opening, or a nightclub, this is the time that human beings are going out with the intention to potentially meet a mate. Not everyone is, but a lot are. They are out because they want to meet someone like you for sex, dating, or marriage. You need to be out at night so that you can provide that opportunity. So go somewhere that plays to your strengths. There's a whole world out there outside of nightclubs. Explore your enviornment and put the time in at venues where you most want to spend time regardless of the ladies, and then make that the terrain you master.

What's the point of this kind of post? If you don't like doing nightgame, don't do it.

I always feel like posts like this are you fishing for excuses to give up. Most of the stuff you wrote about nightgame is not necessary. You don't need to drink, you don't need to do drugs, you don't have to go to expensive places, and you can wear earplugs. So those are just excuses.

Also, you should not use the existence of other creepy guys as an excuse to not approach women. The fact that other guys are creeps has nothing to do with you. In fact, it's good for you that other guys are creeps - by being the one non-creep that approaches them, you are like a breath of fresh air.

Nightgame is a staple due to anonymity, volume, and rapid escalation being the norm. There is really only a nightclub where you can meet a girl and be fucking her in the bathroom 10 mins later. I was wearing my Pokemon shirt at the club last night. I was surprised at how many compliments I was getting. It’s interesting so many guys see night game only as the strategy for one night stands….

I mean, yes that has been a source of the majority of my own one night stands. But it’s also been the source of two long term relationships.

I’ve also met some truly amazing women I would have dated had I been in the right head space.

I don’t drink at all myself - I’m 38 now and quit drinking when I was 21. I also would just night game from 8pm to 12am (unless I was shooting hard for ONS), so it wouldn’t mess with my sleep cycle much either.

It suits my personality better than day, some guys just prefer day, and that’s totally cool. Both have advantages.

But yeah just wanted to pop my hand up and say “hold up guys, night game isn’t only about super drunk girls and one night stands” and I’ve done night game in at least 30 different countries.

I like night game. I enjoy going to the bars with my friends and I always try to make a few moves if I'm feeling like it. I haven't been going very long since I'm only 22 and COVID happened right before my 21st, but in the short amount of time I've done it, I've had some decent results. Went on a date with a girl I met at a bar, had the opportunity to go out on dates with two others, and made out with a handful. Logistics have been awful because I have to take a train to the city where all the bars are and I live with my parents, but that's gonna change once I move to a city in a few months

Night game is fun because it's low pressure, there's a lot of attractive women, and you can still have fun even if you don't have any success.
