I've always been very afraid to approach chicks. There's this cute girl at my gym that everybody looks at but nobody approaches. I grabbed my nutsack today and said fuck it. This is it. I went to her and introduced myself. But she gave me a cold shoulder after telling me her name and continued with her workout breaking eye contact. I felt bad, but I said alright enjoy your workout, bye. On one hand, I feel good that I atleast asked her out, because rejection, even though it hurts a lot, always hurts less than regret. But on the other, it has kinda made me question my worth, because I had thought that I was totally worthy of this girl. I got a decent face, a nice body nearing six-packs abs, a nice career, in-depth knowledge about most topics, and a money-making hobby. But this rejection has completely turned my world upside down. It has got me thinking whether all that I do, whether it's even worth it. If I keep getting rejected like this, then I'm not sure where my mental health would stand, which is why I ask this question. Will I naturally adapt or will I be broken by it? People with experience, please.
